I didn't win anything! One thing about scams is that usually everyone wins.

It isn't a scam - it was announced at ebay live. I just won $10 ebay gift certificate to be emailed to me in 4-6 weeks. Congrats zoomin!

I am trying to find a link to the announcement - I will post when I have something. Maybe folks are winning because the general public doesn't know about it yet! Hard to see what good a "fun" game is to ebay if no one knows about it! You can enter once a day Pixia - so try again.

It apparently was part of Bill Cobb's Keynote Address and it looks like this is the new "it" or something like that.
Scot Wingo mentions it in his blog:
http://ebaystrategies.blogs.com/
I found the link on the Stores Board posted by someone who attended Live....
Looks like you really won zoomin'! I don't understand why ebay isn't promoting this on the home page though ... makes no sense.

Interesting story about how ebay *forgot* to register the domain name of windorphins

Well, he got the "fool" part right, anyway. Talk about WHINY! eBay didn't steal his domain; he handed it over. Didn't even ask to be reimbursed for the registrar fee. Suck-er!

I don't really need any postcards so I'm going to have to share some of my eBaY gift certificate with neglus and buy her something!
Any fun ideas?????

I think the fool has his moral compass pointed in the right direction. Ebay coined the phrase, he could have cashed in on it, making an enemy, but chose not to. You have to pick your battles, I think he did so wisely. Edited to add: He did not walk away with nothing. He has a great story , published, in which he takes the high road - worth much more then the domain fee registration.

Zoomin'- enjoy your prize! It's not necessary to buy postcards or to get me a gift. I am thrilled you won! There are only 5 grand prizes and you got one of them. WOOOOOOOOOOOOOO-HOOOOOO!!!!
I just read the rules (of course I didn't read before playing)- looks like you don't have to spend to use the gift certificate or anything like that.
I'd be careful about using different id's though - and only one prize per id .

I suppose the owners of StubHub should have just handed the keys to the place over to Meg since eBay wanted it.
It's BUSINESS.

Thought I'd bump this back to the top, since you can play every day through July 1.
I still haven't won anything, though.

I have played every day with my 2 IDs but always "OOps" no win. My sister prayed the same icon for several days and won $10! I have now started to pick the same icon in my favorite color every time. It is just a small, quick diversion to start the day.

Amber, It was only after I read your post that I noticed my typo. Maybe she did pray and that is why she won.

I don't think the color really matters. My guess is these are like lottery tickets, the winning ticket is already known before you scratch (ie each play has a unique number assigned to it).
I've even clicked in between the colored things and it takes it.
