Step 1. Fit the PoE pair to either of the Cat5e cable. Step 2. Connect one end to power supply & Ethernet. Step 3. Connect other end to the device.

Simply connect  the PoE set to both  ends of your Ethernet cable ( patch cable) .  One end provides input for power and Ethernet  and the other provides your power and Ethernet output.
