Here's a chance to own an original drawing from the famed clown Emmett Kelly.
This drawing of Emmett Kelly was drawn by Emmett Kelly on stage. Mr. Kelly would make one of these self portrait drawings during his shows and give it to a member of the audience.
Drawing comes from the estate of a woman who was a big fan of Emmett Kelly and was the lucky recipient of the drawing the night she attended his show.
Very hard to come by anymore, this drawing would be an awesome addition to any Emmett Kelly collection.

The drawing is in fantastic condition. There is some smudging of the medium here and there as would be expected during the drawing process and handling by Mr. Kelly. I apologize for the glare in the photos from the glass.

Please note: While the drawing is beautifully framed, I will be shipping the drawing without the frame - it's just to big and would be quite costly to ship with the frame and glass. The drawing will be available for pick up though, if you would like the frame with it.


The exact date of the drawing itself is unknown as Emmett didn't date it, the daughters of the woman thought late 70's. The small framers tag on the back of the frame states that it was framed in 1986.

Shipping & Handling

My shipping practice is within 3 business days of payment. I ship the majority of packages USPS Priority Mail, ususally with a small handling fee between .50 and 1.50 depending on packing requirements. I'm happy to combine shipping if you purchase more than one item from me. Other forms of shipping are possible depending on the situation, feel free to let me know if something else would work better for you.

Returns

• The majority of my merchandise is used and sold in as found, as is condition. Returns will be accepted for items only if I have made an error in my description. Please see my description policy below.
• There will be no returns for Buyers Remorse.
• Please contact me within 7 days to discuss the possibility of a return.
• Buyer will be responsible for return shipping fees, insurance and delivery confirmation is required on items deemed returnable.

  Describing Used Items

  I deal mostly in used merchandise, as such, much of it is less than perfect. While I strive to describe everything as accurately as possible, listing any defects, etc., that I can see, it’s possible I may miss something in my description. What I might find irrelevant or trivial may be the deciding factor for a buyer interested in one of my items. Also, computer monitors are not created equal, so the colors I see may not be the colors the buyer sees on their monitor. With that said, please look at the pictures carefully, as they are a big part of the description, and email any question or concerns you may have.
