Vendio Reviser Wins 2010 eBay Star Developer Award
SAN MATEO, CA, June 14, 2010 — Vendio Services, Inc., today announced that its eBay bulk revision solution, Vendio Reviser, has won a 2010 eBay Star Developer Award in the Rapid Evolution category. Vendio earned this award for rapidly developing a scalable solution that enabled eBay merchants to update thousands of live listings in order to comply with eBay's selling policies.
"We are very proud to receive our third Star Developer Award, especially in the Rapid Evolution category," said Mike Effle, COO of Vendio. "It shows that not only are we an established eCommerce software provider helping merchants sell more productively for over 10 years, but that we can also adapt quickly to meet our customers' needs. As one of eBay's first development partners, this award is especially meaningful because it reinforces our continued commitment to innovation and our customers."
In September 2009, eBay launched its Summer 2009 Seller Update with improvements that helped increase transparency and improve the buyer experience. One of the new policies stated that all merchants needed to include handling times and return policies in their Good 'Til Cancelled (GTC) listings. Many merchants, some of whom had thousands of live GTC listings, were not compliant with these changes. Vendio quickly assessed and addressed the problem with Vendio Reviser — an application that helps merchants update their policies just once and then apply the update across all live listings. With its unparalleled revision capabilities Vendio Reviser helped merchants save countless hours of manually editing live listings one at a time.
Each year, eBay recognizes developers and organizations from the eBay Certified Providers and Developers Program by honoring tools and companies that contribute to improving user experience, customer service, increasing platform engagement and extending eBay in exciting new directions.
