How to Use
Using Index Manager
Back to Web Hosting Help MenuAbout Index Manager
For any subfolder, if you do not have an index.html file located in the directory, a visitor will be able to see and open all files in that directory. For example, if you have created a folder named images, and you do not have an index.html file located in your images directory, a visitor can view all the image files in your directory by pointing to that folder in their browser. You can use Index Manager to prevent this problem by turning off the index in the folder.Turning Off Indexes
- In CPanel, click on Index Manager.
- Click on the folder name that you want to protect.
- Select the ‘No Indexes’ radio button.
- Click Save.
