IF everyone is suffering how can a rate increase be beneficial for US if we are suffering- THINK people. Does a rate increase encourage you to use the 30 day fixed rate listings rather than park your item in your store? Does it encourage you to take advantage of having some items with better exposure and more sales?

How can my paying Vendio more money without anything in return from them help me? Their Templates are terrible!!! The rest of their services are fine or comprable to other sales management services out there.

I am not friends or family with Vendio- we are business associates!! And I am the client, the customer!! If I prosper then they prosper but charging me more is not going to cause me to prosper- Helping me to sell more items for a higher price is going to help me to prosper--and they get a cut of that sale for their service to me.

--AND who said that Vendio is LOOSING MONEY. They are NOT loosing money-- They are not putting anything new into their services!!! Maybe THEY should suspend this rate increase to help US, their customers, during this difficult time of suffering!!

Which by the way I am NOT suffering my sales have NOT fallen off- they are steady-!!!

Sheesshh-

Wow, I can't believe I missed fee increase. Glad I saw about it on some eBay message boards.

Same amount of work on the behalf of Vendio, triple the fees.

Upon reviewing my invoice to verify the now triple charges for the same amount work on vendio's behalf, I also noticed I was being charged for reports I never realized. I wonder how long that has been going on and how much I paid them for a service that was never used. All that combined with errors in scheduled listing times that always seem to happen, I'm not happy.

As soon as my current inventory sells out (or at least close to it), I'm outta here. Not putting any more work here if they are going to be charging 3 times the price for the same level of work on their part.

What are you thinking?

It's worse than tax hikes during a really bad economy. Stop adding new gizmos and gadgets and try offering your customers great prices for services that you already have in place.

I'll be gone. Thanks for the years, the service, and all the bells and whistles.

But this is just too much right now for those of us who are already in trouble from fee hikes on other sites, and the terrible economy.

One more hike too many.

We're all hurting here. If you are seriously affected by the pricing changes, contact Vendio and I'm sure they will try to work out a reasonable plan for you. Every day brings more news of corporate cutbacks and layoffs. In the NW, the technology sector is hit especially hard. I don't want any layoffs in customer service or engineering at Vendio. I don't want the services to degrade. Loss of sellers on eBay must also affect the number of subscribers to Vendio. I can't afford it, but if we can keep the current level of service with a few dollars rise in subscription costs, I'll try tightening my belt a little more.

Contact me offline. Maybe 5 years with Vendio is enough.

I really want to move away from Vendio. this fee increase is unacceptable.

Vendio thinks that we all are hostages beacause of the difficulty of changing of image hosting provider.

Does anybody know a script to change all my auction images from vendio hosting to someone else hosting ?

It is now apparent to me that Vendio considers my patronage to be irrelevant.

Time to move on.

I remember seeing somewhere on this board that Vendio would be calling people to assess how their plans are affected by this change in pricing.

My biggest issue with this change regarding the triple fixed price fees is that Vendio's arguement is that we are getting listings for multiple items rather than a single item as in the store.
That is simply not true for everyone.

I never list in multiples.

All my items are single unique listings.

Therefore, all this does for me is dictate that I put my 30 day/GTC listings in the Store format only and not use the Fixed Price option. I prefer to have listings in all three formats, but it will not make sense for triple the Vendio listing fee.

Yes, I do have a bit of a resentment about my listing formats being affected because of an assumption that all fixed price listings are for multiple items.

Would a change in plans make a difference?
Probably not...All my items are over $30, but never go as high as 300 for a count. So I either pay the increase or will move on.

And I was so not ready to hit a learning curve right now. :-/

BTW, the original announcement stated that "We expect to formalize the change to the Fees Policy...after we finish other higher priorities and customer requests."

Did I miss the implementation of such long term requests as new templates, handling time, etc.???

Susan
