I would think that a parent, of all people, with a child or children in any military role in this or any country which has committed forces by signatory agreement to the support of United Nations goals around the world wouls at least give them the benefit of becoming informed as to long standing policies as regards their child before ignorantly flinging around completely baseless and mistaken accustations against any world leader.

krs - Your continued insults are old. I don't mind sharing with anyone how or why I say what I do, but I can do so without constantly insulting someone who may disagree with my statement. You obviously can't. bye

You already did say why in " Sorry. But no president should use our young soldiers for his own purposed, and IMO that's what clinton was doing"

Which is completely baseless, malinformed, and if you arrive at such a conclusion without any substance in fact, also ignorant.

You should not view my observations as insults, but you should also not expect that I will sit idly by while you foust these fallacies off under the motheaten blanket of "opinion".

for mal

Its amazing how the media loves to cover Bill Clinton, and hey why shouldent they since he was our last elected president. There is one thing Bill Clinton never did and that was steal an election from the American people. The republicans are scared and they should be. Dumbyas approval rating on the zogby poll is in the red, women are turning on him, people think he is away from Washington too long, they trust democrats more, and they like the democrats agenda better. Looks good for the demos next year.

"Can any of you honestly name any President or politician on the national level who was above lying in a self serving way?" -gravid-

Umm ... President Truman?

Well if nobody gives a hoot the book should be a flop right?, and since nobody gives a hoot why is faux news drooling about it for? Time will tell on how well it sells so dont be jealous of the man. You think Clinton is scum and I think Dumbya is scum. Did ya, Know that?

"Sorry. But no president should use our young soldiers for his own purposed," -Linda_K-

You and I agree on that one 100%!

That's why I have been so outraged at Bush, Sr. During the Gulf War against Iraq, there was a small island just off the coast of Kuait. The military had decided that it had absolutely no military value at all; however, Bush, Sr. sent in two platoons of SEALs to retake the island from the Iraqis. There was a firefight and 24 US SEALS died in the action. And what was on that island worth fighting and dying for? Oil wells. And not just ANYBODY's oil wells either! They were owned by the Bush Famly! The SEALs had been sent in because Sadaam had threatened to blow up the oil wells throughout Kuait (which he tried to). That 24 of our highest trained men died in battle for Bush's personal, private interests is nothing short of MURDER.

Yeah, so I have an issue with presidents sending in the military for their own selfish intersts.

Chum you and Borillar have never been able to keep a secret of how you feel, I very seldom become involved in anything political because it is all so asinine, inane and anal retentive. And I am also vexed that you (all Bush bashers) have to bring your forum to every bloomin thread no matter what it started out being about. So if SaraAW says stay on topic it will be just a little late.
Ya know that?
