This will probably get womded for heaven forbid anyone say anything negative to you or your buddies on this board. But who annointed you judge and jury of other posters and their "right" to speak. Trust me, you were not alone in Viet Nam and you do not speak for all who served.

I can't believe you guys are all posting like this. This was an unprecedented event in our history. Unlike Pearl Harbour where we knew exactly who it was that attacked the U.S., and then they attacked the Navy.
There is a procedure that is in place. The President, Vice President and Speaker of the House, are all 'whisked' away, until its deteremined what is going on. The whole chain of command.... because if one gets it (who knew, one could have) there has to be someone in charge of the country.
I doubt he's playing cards with Laura during these times, don't you think he is in meetings doing what needs to be done..
Media kept saying where is Bush, media kept saying Congress was upset that Bush wasn't at the White House. Whether you like the President or not, he is the U.S President, and that is what happens when this f*cked up terrible thing happened.

I love my country and I support my government.
I will not sit back and quietly listen while non-supportive citizens attempt to tear apart the non-partisan unity that is required for America to survive the upcoming months and years. We need Americans not democrats or republicans.

If someone has AF one's codes then this thing could not have been done by any rabble rousing arab billionaire. That would have to come right out of our own top levels, and to be current it would have to be someone as much as on the plane. They alter codes for that plane more than anything else including SAC bombers and submarines.
Improbable. If true, then we're in trouble.

Im scared, too. It is no secret that I cant stand Bush either, but like zilvy's email poster said...he IS our president right now, and Im hoping he uses common sense and keeps us safe. People, this is SCAREY. We could be heading to world war 3 and it wont be pretty and will probably be the end for us all. So if we should do anything, that anything would be to band together, regardless of political sides.
