OMG, what if they all come here???

LOL. I don't think that there's much danger of that.

I'll bet they are shaking in their boots.

I'll have to go check it out.

My Dad was a snake and bug eater - Army Ranger. I don't think those fellows will be short of work for awhile.
Just so we are not out grubbing for roots soon. I am too old for that survival stuff. I want air-conditioning and soft beds.

Maybe if they lay off pattaylor, he will open his own board. He wuvs us, ya know.

I wouldnt go to that other place. No fears there.

I think they have him hard at work as we speak....

I never go there, though I think I signed up ages ago...can't remember why. Doesn't a poster with a majorly big head, and aspirations to lead organizations which won't allow him as a member, hang out there?

Good luck with that last sentence...lol

Maybe they can condense it to two forums. EO be changed to AO (Auction outlook) and keep RT for stuff not related to auctions. Just a suggestion.

I think it should go back to ONE forum. Think of all the moderator employment we could generate...

It would be interesting, wouldnt it? RT and EO and all the rest in one big glob.

It used to be just such a glob, more or less. It was far more interesting, IMO. The way it is now, it seems to be getting stagnant in both places.

Ive been reading other places too. Seems someone from here is speaking for all of RT posters and asking if we would be welcome. All I can say is, dont speak for me.

AW employees, I'm really sorry to hear that. Things are so bad everywhere. A depression (let's hope it's only a recession) and war who ever thought?

I sure hope the boards don't close here, although, it did feel like going to church there for a while.

And that Pat guy better not lose his job.

Hepburn - choco anything is a good thing. Good comfort food, which is, great in these days of stress.

Wow, things are getting tough everywhere.

Job cuts aren't always bad, though. Just ask the 30 employees who were laid off from Cantor Fitzgerald (103rd floor of the WTC Tower One) on September 10th.

Not speaking for anyone Hepburn. It was a sarcastic statement aimed at those who pounced on Femme. Try posting there once in awhile.....it's not safe.

Timing is everything & I can't imagine having to live with the tragedy unfolding before our eyes and losing your job on top of that!...My sympathies to the AW staffers who let go & to those who remain in an uncertain environment.

On a selfish note, I dearly hope that these boards remain. I have found invaluable information & support here, not to mention a few good arguments, a bellyful 'o chuckles, tears of sorrow and sincere caring from a bunch of faceless folks known to me as only AW IDs. Since I've never been part of the "in crowd" I wouldn't even have a clue where to find any other place!

Well, I don't know where I will go, but I do know where I won't go. LOL

And with that declaration, I'm sure the applause is deafening.
