They could buy them on ebay USED.

Take a good long look, AW. Pania's what you'll have left on your unmoderated board after we go. Nice, polite, responsible-posting individuals who tell others to shut up and leave.

Interesting that the mods WOMD a popcorn gif I posted last night but leave trash like this sitting in plain view.

What jt said...

Actually, if I thought there were the slightest chance AW isn't gonna go under with an eBay buyout in the very near future now, I wouldn't mind giving them a card number. I'm not suspicious about that part of it.

I just truly conclude the upper-level owners of this dot-bomb want to be rid of a bunch of employees before they split up some paltry buyout sum. Then, of course, it'll be no messages, no search, no nuttin' since eBay will kill it all. I just don't feel like wasting my time on a doomed message board.

See, I kicked in $100 or whatever for that Blackthorne auction management program a couple years ago. Fool me once, etc

I just wonder where our replacements are coming from.
If you were just finding AW for the first time, and found out you had to post your credit card to ask a question, would you be jumping on that?
Or jumping away?
If you couldn't ask a question first, would you be willing to use their auction software?

I have refered a lot of people to this site right up until, well, you know when.

Hey, Pania!

*extending middle claw in time-honored salute*

Sit and spin, baby. Sit and spin.

Spaz: Your popcorn gif was booted? That' silly! There was nothing wrong with that gif-hell, it's not like it was a popcorn bag wearing a thong or anything. Sheesh!

Maybe it was copyrighted popcorn. Spaz should've posted a link. CG's, ya know.

Sheesh. It's just not fair. They WOMD your popcorn box and I can't even get an "ahem" when I call someone a useless waste of skin(back during the saga of She Who Must Not Be Named).

Mebbe it was one last moderator hurrah, just so whoever it was could say they goosed someone one last time.

I am sorry to see everyone leaving, including myself. It just is not fees-able anymore. I wish everyone the best, including yourself, krs, though we have had our disagreements, I always considered you a very intelligent fellow.

It's a sad,sad thing when a dot.com self implodes. Thank you moderators, for all of your help.

My email has always been in my user id, anyone wishing to email me, feel free: I don't bite too hard!

God bless all, and take care.

Those of you who have taken advantage of the FREE AW services...and continue to the last minute to take advantage of the FREE AW services are spoiled!

That looks suspiciously like a... well, complaint.

Oh-and one more thing-not all of us are sellers. I'm strictly a bidder so AW's services mean nothing to me.

Complaining is purely d fun! I'll not have anyone try to cut in on my complainin time.

Why hell, If I cant't complain what am I supposed to do with my free time?????????

I wanna know how its not ok to complain but its ok to complain about complaining. That just freaks me out no end.

Is complaining about complaining and whining about whining even allowed here??????

Moderator! I need to know!

Since my posting privileges are not in jeopardy with less than 48 hours to go, I want to say UP YOURS PANIA !!

If you're what's gonna be left and that is a sign of what the boards will be like without moderators, then it makes leaving slightly easier!

My sympathies and thanks to the moderators, my thanks to all you good folks and I'm sure we'll meet again on other boards.

Hi, Redeer, haven't seen you for awhile.

See ya all on the flip side(site).

kiawok aka reddeer is not only someone I consider to be a close friend but he is also one of the smartest businessmen I know.
He has an excellent grasp of what is going on. He has given of himself and his knowledge many, many times in his years here at AW and has done so willingly and graciously.
Pania, on the other hand, does not seem to have a clue and I think she lacks knowledge as well as decorum. If she is an example of what will be left here at AW then all I can say is ...

"Hey, Neil dear, hold that door for me, willya?"

I will miss so many of the posters here but since I have been all but gone from these boards of late, it will be easier to deal with. AND I hope to still drop in and look for all my favorite posters who may still be here.
As always, I wish you all peace and contentment.

Re-reading the opening post...

Don't you just hate it when a poster uses friendly smilies in a post where they are giving you hell?

It's sort of like your teenagers smirking when you were/are bawling them out. You just wanted to wipe the smiles off their face.

-------

Uh, Pania, even if I give up my CC#, I still will not be a paying customer.

Perhaps you know something we don't know?

I've noticed Pania has not returned to post to this thread. I don't know Pania and don't recall any of his/her previous posts so I don't have any judgements to make, but isn't that similar to putting a fiery bag of poop on someone's porch, ringing the bell and running off?

Perhaps this thread will give us some insight into Pania's short fuse.
