It used to be. I would get the %#$ stuff.
I'm trying to think of something to suggest to the WH besides hey, check out this neat politically oriented place on the web called the Round Table. You have the right to an informed opinion -Harlan Ellison

I did it! Yep, made it to San Francisco Sun. It was great even though I got sick and was only there for a little while. I was going to carpool from San Mateo, but at the last minute finally talked a friend into going.
It's hard to explain how it made me feel....old feelings from time passed, running into people I haven't seen in years (funny in a crowd of thousands you find people, really weird.)The drums, the chanting, the bond with strangers that share your beliefs. It was peaceful even with some that were there who didn't agree.
Darn it was hot! So unusual for us, and with that mass of bodies it added another 20 degrees. I have been fighting this bug for weeks, and started having dizzy spells. Any sudden moves and I would lose my balance. Evidently, the bug decided to take up residence in my lungs and ears. So, now I'm on meds and I'm feeling better! I think I missed alot even though I was there but it was worth it!

I am impressed! Choco, you are amazing! They had a peace rally here on sunday too but they failed to announce it to anyone and I didn't know about it until the evening news. I was pissed. Well, someone must have known about it since there were several thousand people there. I really wanted to go when they had one. I imagine there will be more of them the way things are going.

I used to be able to get to the White House line (a few times) with no wait. Either we ALL are trying to communicate with Bush or they are tracing the calls.
I called the House and Senate (Republicans all for me) and they had a wait too.
Off topic, our library system has said they will no longer keep our favorites, what we read most, online. I congratulated the information desk librarian last weekend. She was pleased and said we all really need to contact those responsible. I am assuming she didn't mean just the library system by the look on her face.

Good for you, aposter!!!
I sent several emails and received a response from each Democratic receipent but nothing from the Republicans on my list. Yesterday I received a two page letter from Paul Sarbanes. Maybe the volume of emails and calls will make a difference.
