Listen to the administration spokesman on the NBC news tonight....
Are people weally that stupid to not see the blatant manipulation? Guess so.....

And shock that anyone would not trust the government. Yeah - if you've been living in a cave for decades.

I'll take TV preachers, used car salesman and my brother in law that can't keep his pants on before the government.

That's the first good thing I've heard about your brother-in-law gravid.

I didn't see the news segment that you refer to, Gravid, but I would still hazard a guess that the answer to your question is the affirmative.

At least in the Good Old Days, political deceptiveness required some intelligent strategizing and articulated argument. Today it doesn't seem to demand much more finesse than one would need to procure a cheap whore.

I thought the governments stupid terror-o-meter was our version of a weapon of mass terror? All they have to do is crank that puppy up to RED and MASS TERROR hits the streets.

Krafty? Is it a good thing that gravids BIL can't keep his pants on? I'm not totally sure that's a good thing...

Hey there! Well, I didn't even see KD there before I posted either, but I had to stop midpost to do something else before I could get back here to finish the post.

How are you all doing?

Gravid! I thought you would gladly duel with your relative from the shallow end of the gene poop!

This is faith based government, believe it or not.

And I know that you know it too. I think the head of Yale should have to sit through every one of Bush's speeches, and then read them and weep.

More neat people. It can never be said that Bush brings out the worst in us.

I haven' seen you in a while, Snowy. At least it seems a while. Too long at any rate.

Antiquary, I've been punning around. We're rarely here at the same time lately. I hope you and your family had a good holiday.

Helen, ugh. I wasn't very impressed with the level of education of the Yale grads who worked in my field that I met, but they certainly were.

Perhaps you could post some pointers, because I could use the help. I keep telling them, "in my day, $.25 cents bought a lot more" but they don't listen.

Snowy, what the heck is "gene poop" in your post back there??

You have just been too punny all week.

Twinsoft..maybe it is the finesse part you're missing? Could be your presentation.Or it could be the quarter.
Try a dollar, see if it helps.

In my day

That's it, in a nutshell.

Rawbunzel, I meant to type gene pool, but poop seemed to fit, since his BIL had his pants down.

Could be your presentation.

"You're a cheap whore. Here's a quarter."

That line worked, back when whores were whores, and a quarter meant something.

How long has it been since a quarter actually meant something? I can't remember....and of course I know nothing about when whores were whores.

Why, yes, Krafty! I believe I was once the "road whore" of the RT. I'd forgotten. Surely I should know something about when whores were whores then shouldn't I?

Snowy, I'm thinking that Twinsoft is wanting to know about the price of "inflation" .

Rawbunzel, that was a long time ago. It's hard enough to remember the famous Tricky Dick campaign:

I remember the road whore thread. Rawbunzil received an apology but the guy delivering the insults said that he would rather eat ground glass than apologize to me. LOLOL!

I think that I had accused him of mistreating animals.

You are so right, Antiquary! It seems that people are so poltically naeve anymore. All that a political party machine has to do is to empty their trash and the public gobbles it up whole. Whatever happened to the healty cynicism of the public? Are we all to send in our life savings to TV Evangelists so that they can buy another mansion?

kraftdinner,

I was impressed by how well Rawbunzil handled it...that's one reason I remember it so well. He was really upset with me. lol

You were there kraftdinner, trying to pin down a definition of a road whore. Hahaha!
