Bush has said that he is disapointed with the amounts of money provided by congress, which amounts are apparently exactly what he asked the congress for, for domestic anti-terrorist programs.

So, he got his congress, they did as he requested, and now it's their fault.

Is he crazy?

Is he crazy?

That's become a valid question which is beginning to be very subtly raised from both the left and the right.

No one can understand the administration's position on North Korea. I honestly wonder if Bush/Ashcroft/Rumsfeld/Wolfowitz don't subconciously identify with Pyongyang. Or maybe thier approach to nuclear holocaust just stokes the paranoid and delusional fantasies of the pro-Armageddon, fanatical right.

Unless the security issues facing the US and the international community are resolved by the next election, Bush will win by a landslide.

The American people will not elect anyone soft on terrorism, soft on dictators, or who will appease madmen fueling the terrorists.

If the security issues are resolved, Bush will be sunk by the economy.

I remember that once upon a time a small group of people were so out of touch with reality that they believed Nixon's unethical behavior was justified and that he could regain credibility and influence.

Nixon's behavior wasn't justified but he did regain credibility and influence. His council was sought out by several presidents and foreign dignitaries.

I've never committed a felony and only have had a few traffic tickets but no presidents have ever called me for advice.

Do they call you very often ?

No, Reamond, I haven't sunk into either delusion or revisionism. I just like to keep up with what is actually happening in the world, like reading objective newsreporting and balanced analyses. You should give it a try.

I'll bet I read more sources of news than you do, I'm just better able to be critical of so-called "reliable and neutral" sources. I'll also wager that my private library is broader than anyone's on this board.

Reamond, it isn't the quantity, it's the quality that counts in one's personal library, among other things.

So, he got his congress, they did as he requested, and now it's their fault.

Passing the bush has been Bush' modus operandi since his first failed business gig.

Oh how quickly they turn on 'one of their own' when he only disagrees on one single subject....the war. That's what's sad.

I seem to remember disagreeing with Reamond on more than one subject. Health care comes to mind. But I wouldn't describe a disagreement as "turning on" someone. Am I "turning on" krs when I say size doesn't matter? Hardly.

snowy - No...probably not. Just looks that way to me.

I think Reamond is one of the few that really, truly sees the problem the left is dealing with. I think he's trying to make you see what the future holds for the democrats if things continue this way. He's trying to PREVENT that from happening. But most only see it as 'siding' with Bush or his policies. He's being realistic.

Look at how many are still talking about the 'stolen election'. Well...didn't look like the democrats made any gains to me in the Nov. elections...especially since they were going to 'show' how they felt about the USSC 'giving' Bush the election. And, yes, things may very well change in 2004...but Reamond is wise beyond his years and is aware of what's going to prevent that from happening if things don't change.

REAMOND says:

"If the security issues are resolved, Bush will be sunk by the economy."

This is probably the main reason this war is going to last a really LONG time.

Drawing the war out will result in Bush not getting elected too.

The best strategy the Dems could do is help produce a quick victory in Iraq and then Bush is setting on a economy that couldn't even get god re-elected.

Her name is Helen Thomas.
She is being black balled, and said to be suffering from old timers disease.By their accounts of course.

The Bush regime and its apologists are desperate and discrediting themselves far faster than any opposition could. It's just amazing to watch.

No reamond, sick is the need to engage in the sort of braggartry that you have above.

Well krs if you had read the post above mine, you would have seen that I was openly challenged regarding what I read and the sources of my reading.

I suppose someone like you feels it is braggardly.

Do you read anything besides comic books ? Your opinions and statements would seem to support your sources as being comic books.

LOL! Look at you!
Now reamond, I remember well your perverse reaction to my friend Annie's postings of pictures of herself, remember that? I'll bet you do. You were slathering, slobbering practically visibly over the net that night. The only point of this little remembrance is to let you know that my opinion of you was firmly set then and that it was that you are a churlish person lacking in much of the experience of the world, to use polite description, and so not worth responding to in most cases. By your silly little name calling here, coupled with your sick need to do as above I have no reason to alter from the stance I've held.

On your point, if that is what you felt you had made - no, I haven't seen a comic book in more years than I'd admit but if I did see one I've no doubt I'd find you within it defined either by imagery or by action. Oh, no. They do have heroic characters in those, don't they? As well as monsters? If not I might be confused by one and not know you for sure. Tell me then, reamond, do comic books have people like you in them?

Yah, yah, we keep hearing about that nonsense. The Republicans didn't win because the majority of Americans want them in, the majority have become so disolutioned with the ir inability to change the system that are no longer motivated to vote. The Republicans made thier wins through default. Personally, I'm much more interested in the next Presidential elections, as we'll see just how many problems with voter fraud that there is -- like the mountains of it in the last one!

Well..let's see krs, I am well read and appreciate the female form, and you hold both against me ?

You must prefer illeterate homosexuals.

krs- I pegged you early on with your silly and misguided notions about the law and the constitution. You have lost every arguement you've ever had with me here. In fact after the last one you disappeared for a while.

Lacking experience ? I have been places you'll never be able to see and done things you'll never be able to do. I'll put my experiences up against yours any day of the week.

Your lack of experience shows in your hopless attempts to rescue your baseless positions in nearly every thing you've ever posted here.

By the way, do you really think anyone would believe that those nude pictures were of a friend of yours. That's an old AOL trick from years ago.

In any event, you're begging, stop embarassing yourself.

Aha! I have it! I +KNOW+ who REAMOND IS!!

At first, I thought that REAMOND was some guy who let his weird wife use the computer on his account once in a while, and then his teenage kid go a couple of times and finally, some eight year old once or twice. But that's not it at all! I was WRONG!

REAMOND is a screen name for White House officials who want to make points on here. Someone USED to be behind the REAMOND name that was intelligent and unbiased. But somehow, someone else is clearly taking over and the original REAMOND user is no longer being allowed to use their account under that name.

Whoever is using the REAMOND account right now isn't too awful bright. Instead of dealing with facts on an unbiased level, this user is making every attempt to argue - not debate. As far as I'm concerned, "REAMOND" you didn't win that office fair and square and now you can turn the account back over to Colin -- OK?
