We collapsed the Taliban in Afghanistan and put al Qaeda on the run. There were few verified civilian casualities. I saw little girls in Afghanistan going to school for the first time in their lives.
By putting al Qaeda on the run, we are catching them one by one. We just caught the #3 man with his laptop, cell phones, and corespondence.
Afghanistan was a success. Crushing al Qaeda will be a success.
But it doesn't matter what the Bush administration does, Bush haters will not recognize any success.

Cheryl,
Thank you for your nice post. I can understand your feelings and I respect them.
If only it was that easy to just kill Saddam and his regime. It's not. Yes, there will be collateral damage. I too wish that no innocent people get killed or hurt.
War is hell, is an old quote and probable truer today then ever..
You asked on another thread If all antiwar people were leftist. NO, NO, No. If you read the threads you'll find that some on these boards are.
They denounce the Country and it's leaders with BS posts of half truths and out and out lies. They cut and paste crap right off the Commie websites. Those are leftist. They are very lonely people that need to strike out at others. They call those that don't agree with them ignorant and they spell check your posts...I just don't understand them.

That's kind of an unfair statement. I don't care for the man, but I do acknowlege the good that he has managed to do. Imposing economic sanctions on Zimbabwe is one of them. It's about time.
Don't think me un-American. If we do go to war, I will support our troops. There's no question of that.
Colin

I don't recall having asked that. But, then again, things have been so hectic in my life, I may have. My brains is gettin' old.
