RetroBargins, I don't know what makes you so stupid, but it seems to work for you.....

As for the WOMD. I seem to remeber this administration saying Saddam had them and WE KNEW EXACTLY WHERE THEY WERE.

Well, do they or did they lie? Apparently they lied. Just like the report that Iraq was trying to purchase weapons grade uranium. Turned out to be admitted lies by the CIA to give Bush something to throw at the UN. Yet you will continue to support those who LIE so they can KILL. You will continue to lick the boots of those who hate you.

Stalin and Lenin would be so proud of thier protege, BUSH.

As for my quote, it is large but unfortunately true. And at present, applicable.

"Beware the leader who bangs the drums of war in order to whip the citizenry into a patriotic fervor, for patriotism is indeed a double-edged sword. It both boldens the blood, just as it narrows the mind. And when the drums of war have reached a fever pitch and the blood boils with hate and the mind has closed, the leader will have no need in seizing the rights of the citizenry. Rather, the citizenry, infused with fear and blinded by patriotism, will offer up all of their rights unto the leader and gladly so. How do I know? For this is what I have done. And I am Caesar."

Actually, your quote isn't true, you've picked up the internet hoax quote that Barbara Streisand (in)famously fell for last year.

US actions are implicit in all this crap.
Accessories, before, after, and during.

Some people are so blinded by their ‘patriotism’ that they refuse to accept any blame.

Some ‘patriots’ would have us believe that USA is an Immaculate Conception.
Those ‘said patriots’ are blind or fools or like colin….. Lying propagandists.

ROTFLMAO!!!

HA HA HA!! Awesome donny!

Touche' - mlecher: I think donny just proved "who" is the stupid one.

It's never smart to debate with personal feelings intermixed - your personal feelings will always expose your shortcomings.

Hmmm... what dead person can I attribute that statement to and call it a Famous Quote?

That's okay... I thought I made a mistake once myself... but actually, I was mistaken.

I don't have to prove nothing to nobody but myself.

KEEP SUPPORTING OUR TROOPS!
THEY ARE AWESOME!

*********************************
NEWS FLASH - Dateline Near Future
*********************************

Today the World Agency Saddam Terrorism Extermination Union (WASTEU) unanimously (3 of 3) decided to rename post-war Baghdad to Bushdad in honor of father and son United States Presidents Bush whose combined efforts bestowed peace and tranquility to the oppressed people of the former war-state of Iraq - now commonly known as Urock!

No comments or actions were received or expected from the recently dissolved United Nations or it's powerless country members. Following success in Iraq, the United States of America pulled all funding and humanitarian aid and stopped all foreign trade to every United Nations country that failed to support the efforts of the Iraq Freedom Coalition. Shortly afterwards, the former United Nations dissolved. Despite this action the USA now enjoys the ability to feed all of its own people, provides free medical care and has enjoyed a noted decrease in domestic unemployment and a greatly improved means of living for every legal resident of the USA. This action is the direct result of the expulsion of every non-resident alien from all U.S. properties. Poverty has been stricken and jobs have become numerous! Now the common man is readily able to obtain business loans and launch successful businesses where before the United States Government and states required you to be anything other than a natural born U.S. citizen to obtain these and other privileges.

When interviewed from Camp David East, (the recently completed high security compound in what used to be known as France), President Elect Bush was humble but delighted in this announcement. Shortly after the defeat of Hitler "wannabe" Saddam Hussein, and during reconstruction of Iraq, the coalition continued their effort to eradicate the world of terrorism and fanatic leaders. Since the second Gulf War, the U.S. flag has grown with additional stars signifying a total of 60 United States thus far, including the former Iraq, Syria, Turkey, France, Germany and Afghanistan. "The stars on our flag are getting smaller, but our heart is getting bigger...as big as Texas!" Former President George Herbert Bush said regarding his son's outstanding display of patriotism, love of freedom and respect for the common man.

Michael Moore, The Dixie Chicks and Pearl Jam refused our calls to comment on these current issues. Possibly due to their phones being disconnected for unpayment after their historic "professional suicide" statements in opposition to and during Gulf War II. Fans rebeled and each in their own way spiraled into debt and ultimate bankruptcy. Their own continued financial problems exist due to their inability to accept what they are too small to change.

Helen,I knew it was up North, but didnt remember, and just not curious enough to go look,LOL,You know what I mean.
It was called a legacy birth,...are you sure it wasnt a divine intervention of some kind?
The seeing have gone blind, the hearing have gone deaf, and people believe a pretzel can mess up half your face.
I like the man of God version the best, fried 120 inmates in Texas jumped into a unknown war to keep the citizens on edge and in fear, and in the back ground taking away all our rights. The wealthy top 1000 got a sweetheart deal on taxes,on top of the deals they already had.President Bush can look at you, in that camera and tell you it was done to spur economic growth and jobs.
3 million people are still wondering where those jobs are, some of them are in the streets, some have even turned to crime to survive.
The majority of Bush's cheer leaders seem to be the red neck beer swigers, with names like little Billy Joe John Wayne, with great expectations of a superior "cleansing" and believe the President is a good ole boy.
The real goofy ones show up to call names because they have no mental capacity, to argue their cause, and revert to childhood tactics, that got them thru the 3rd grade.
Maybe we can all converse in the new Kings english,of do-do poo-poo,ickey dorey and scratch our lower extremities while belching along to tunes of "The devil went down to Georgia"
So, this is the new world order.LOL

Retrobargains, it is clear from your posts that you are not a believer in humanitarian aid, in any place other than your own ‘home turf’.
No doubt your view of ‘home turf’ along with ‘sense of obligation’ diminishes with distance.
It is clear that you see no ‘sense of obligation’ to the south of Texas, but other Americans should be concerned that this ‘sense of obligation’ might also diminish as your view expands to the Northern States.

“I don't have to prove nothing to nobody but myself”
Oh, But you do, as you seek to convince others to accept your view.

But you can’t do that, because now you openly declare your selfish intentions.

Colin says that Union Carbide did what they did because Indian laws permitted them to.
“Yes, It was an American owned company and It was running under the laws and conditions of India.”
So I guess he thinks it’s ok for USA to do what it does, because the UN won’t or can’t stop them.
The people of Bohpal have had well over 12 years to fix their mess and yet they are still experiencing the afterbirth, perhaps they like it..
So now after 12 years you say that the people of Iraq have had long enough to get rid of Saddam.
USA, put him there, armed him to the teeth, and then turn around and say, “now get rid of him”, perhaps the people of Iraq like him too.

Troops may think they are there to secure freedom for the people of Iraq, but retro, 12, & colin, to name a few, have made their opinions clear.
You have no humanitarian concerns for the people of Iraq.
Others like Linda_K are incapable of understanding your true sentiments. Or so she pretends.
Sure thing Linda, you’re a good Christian woman, I’m sure that Jesus would be right there next to you if he could. Linda thinks that Jesus would say “Let’s go to war let’s support our troops.”

I don’t know if Bush is as smart as Linda or if he’s as inhumane as retro, 12, and colin.
I’d guess the later.
Expansionism, for economic gain, with little concern for human life.
Saddam is not the only evil one.

Saddam Hussein butchers Iraqi
civilians. The US butchers Iraqi
civilians.

RetroBargains,

By Geezez, You've got the whole Pinko support group mad at you.

You have to remember to:

Never prove them wrong.
Never belittle their lack of intelligence.
Never tell them they are anti-Americans.
(they are but they don't want you to say it)
Never say bad things about Marx, Lenin or any other communist idealist.
Most of all never agree on anything they say and then disagree on something else. They can't understand that at all.

They will tell you of their fight for humanity. If that was true they would be behind this war in Iraq. They are not. They don't care about the Iraqi people. They just hate President Bush.

Most of what they quote or links to such can be found here:
