You must have patience mlecher, and let the military do its job. Let the war takes its course and then allow several months or even years for the US to find the weapons, after all, that's what all the peaceniks wanted the UN to do.
The US never said they knew exactly where the weapons were. What they did have is the documentation that shows that the equipment and material were present in Iraq and Iraq would not provide the necessary proof to the UN inspectors that the equipment and material was destroyed.
Iraq is the size of California. The material has been moved no one knows how many times and there are vast areas of open barren desert to bury things in.
The FBI never found Jimmy Hoffa, but sane and rational people do not doubt that he was murdered.

The Australian Associated Press quotes erstwhile U.N. weapons inspector Richard Butler as telling Australia's ABC Radio that during his stint in Iraq (1997-99), "I was shown some intelligence information, from overhead imagery and so on, that the Iraqis had moved some containers of stuff across the border into Syria":
"We had reason to believe that those were containers of chemical weapons and perhaps some other weapons.
"I don't believe the Iraqis wanted to give them to Syria, but I think they just wanted to get them out of the territory, out of the range of our inspections.

The Associated Press reports that "U.S. military engineers have reported that they shut down a pipeline used for illegal oil shipments from Iraq to Syria--an interesting approach, since if the Syrians complain about this, it will amount to an admission that they have been violating the U.N. sanctions.

You still are in denial reamond aren't you. Your God-like administration stated for the whole world to hear that we knew EXACTLY where the WOMD's are. Now they have got to put up or shut up! And they can't put up. If I say I know where my car keys are in the morning, I DO NOT HAVE TO SPEND ANY TIME LOOKING FOR THEM.
So either this administration knows where the WOMD's are or they haven't got a clue if any exist and they lied. They showed the UN photographs of the storage facilities and factories that produced the WOMD's. It is real hard to move a warehouse, and even harder to cover up what it made without YEARS of cleaning. And it was claimed these were recent photos. Go one of them and get it! No searching and looking required....unless it was all a lie to the world.
I have always known this invasion was all based on a bald-faced lie. That is why I was so much against it. 121 Americans had to die for a look-and-see excursion....

And you what will be really, really sad....
In the end, when nothing is found, it will be Colin Powell who will take the fall. After he was the message boy for the administration's call to war, the neo-cons in the administration will point to him and tell the world "That'll teach you to listen to a black man". Except in private where they will have much more colorful language to describe him and Rice.....

It is really ironic that while the war in Iraq was ongoing, all the left wing, anti-war, Bush bashers were strangely silent, (for the most part).
Now that the regime of Saddam has been overturned (with far fewer U.S. & Brit casualties that had been expected), these here to for “quasi-silent factions” come storming to the front once again.
Reminds me of turning the lights on in a adandoned warehouse & watching the rats & roaches run for cover.

Not true bear. When the whole point of the war (first version) was to get rid of the WOMD in Iraq, it would just be nice to see these weapons to help justify the cause, that's all.
