Is that the 140,000 names that the Seventh Day Adventists speak of?
If you can't answer a man's argument, all is not lost; you can still call him vile names.

I think the RT board is just one more healthy manifestation of a free society. While I don't agree with helenjw or kraftdinner most of the time, I respect their right to speak their minds. That's one of the many things which differentiates this country from the Iraqs and North Koreas of the world.
Although helen may flail me mercilessly for using an analogy, I would liken my philosophy on this to my contempt for rap music; I don't like it but I respect it. When I was a teenager, my folks couldn't understand why their white Christian Eagle Scout son had posters of a black drug-taking hippie guitarist named Jimi Hendrix covering the walls of his bedroom.
Diversity is beauty.

I don't know what the Seventh Day Adventists say... but there is a part in Revelations about 144,000, which I thought that meant to be 144,000 Jews. BUT all that said, and all read, its not up to me, on how to interpet the Bible, esp. Revelatons, where it is very difficult in most areas of that book to know what the heck its saying
There are some parts that are pretty literal, but most I don't think are meant to be taken as literal. Such as thing like; The horses, the lampstands, the seals (the breaking of) I don't think it is meant as literally men riding horses, 7 lampstands, and 7 seals.
Now did that make it clearer LOL
Lamb's Book of Life... another one, where it is written where everyone that will enter the Kingdom (death) there will be a 'Book of Life' with all the ones to enter Heaven will be in it, another one that I wouldn't take literally.
Like most people, one can interpet this Book a thousand different ways.
btw, I do not 'belong' to any one Church or Denomination, I used to though, the Catholic Church... they did not advise reading Revelations (in the Catholic Bible that book is called the Apocalypse) and when I was younger, they didn't encourage reading of any of the Bible, 'without guidance' such as Religion Class in parochial school, or CCD (which was a class that kids took that couldn't go to Parochial school) Just one of the many reasons I did quit the Church

Helen, you are responsible in large part for Colin being here. You helped build this forum into a wacko ultra-left wing soapbox. As I posted a while ago, the distinction at the far ends of the political spectrum gets blurred. (An area I might call the lunatic fringe.) Your rabidly anti-American ravings are what opened the door to posters like Austbounty, Bear, 12pole and Colin. (BTW I disagree with Colin but at least he doesn't sit on the sidelines sniping at other posters.)
When KRS left, you, Gravid and that other guy whose name escapes me just couldn't maintain the tide against the new loonies you had brought in. I predicted this would happen and it did. Unfortunately the Round Table is no better off for it. We've gone from far left to far right. You've got no one to blame but yourself for the new political climate here.

Give it a rest. KRS was like anyone else, he knew how to copy and paste like the best of them. (and he probably has a very intelligent wife that kept him informed )

They're all jealous Helen. The women wish they were more like you and the men all wish you were their wife. It's obvious.

LOL twinsoft seems to forget I was posting here while Ross, Pocono, and Spazmodeous were reaming his a$$ for being a dumbsh*t...
So no Helen didn't bring me "in" I just came back from a vacation...

Maybe twinsoft will come back and dump another load. I think that Ross, Pocono and Spaz were right on target with that description. LOL!

I agree fern. Without people like yourself, twelve, Helen and Borillar types, there'd be no need to talk about anything. Whether I agree or not, everyone's post makes me think. Thinking's good.

Yeah I agree, a free society, akin to our freedoms in this great United States
Well my favorite poster now is Colin. He's funny, (I just recently read his jokes in that one thread 'talking dog') he is to the point, and doesn't go for the political correctness crap. I like him.

NTS, my email is [email protected]. It's posted on the board as well.
Helen, I wouldn't say you are solely responsible for the status of this forum. (I don't think I DID say that.)
As for KRS, he did more that copy/paste. He was desperate to maintain his position as alpha-male, to the point of insulting anyone and everyone who didn't toe his line of queer American politics. That's why this forum dwindled down to three or four regular posters.
12pole, I don't know what happened to you since you left, but you are very different. And not in a good way. You've become hateful, spiteful, just downright nasty. You weren't like that before.
As for Ross, Pocono (who mended fences after his kid got sick), Spaz and the rest ... well, I guess we all have our online nemeses, eh Helen? I've got a low tolerance for bullcrap - I am the first to admit it.
Who knows, maybe I'll stick around?

Because I'm having (it looks like it will be) a good day.
I'm taking all your (you know who you are) names off my A-List.
I know you will make it back on shortly but I want to show what a forgiving (TIC) person I am.
I can do this because I want to. Just as I could start the list. This is one of the rights we have.
Helen, Helen, I can't believe your up in arms about being labeled as a pro communist. You must admit your posts are a bit left of Socialism? You did say you believed in anarchy. Did you not?
What's a person to think?
I could have just read the leftist ranting without posting a word but it's not in my nature.
I've read the never ending anti-Bush diatribes, Read the America BAD sentiments over and over again on this board.
I started to post on a regular basis because the leftist would gang up on anything said that was pro-America. I could see they Thought they were of a Superior intelligence and looked down at anyone that disagreed. They are gone now. Amen.
If they were looking to be the Alpha Male they were running in the wrong pack. Seems they couldn't P*ss with the big dogs.
I've very much enjoyed seeing an evenly divided community. I still enjoy the wacko's and the moron's too.
BTW. I'm getting my hair cut today.
Amen,
I love everyone but?
Reverend Colin
