kraftdinner & helenjw - Thank you for both for the "respectful" response(s).

I become overwhelmed with some posts (I admit) but try to restrain from "name-calling". My intentions are meant well..

kraftdinner - I apologize for invading your thread with political issues - somehow political issues just evolve in the oddest places...

As for the original thread (NEIGHBORS..) -

I totally agree with the post about the snapshot of the backyard - mail it to them (the neighbor) to let them know what * soon * they'll be missing...lol - good one!!)

The post w/the 12ft fence idea is a clever idea too!!

fashionguru,

I'm so happy that you returned.

Consistency is a trait that I admire in thought and writing. It makes me feel like I'm communicating with a REAL person. Do you know what I mean?

Hey, don't be silly fashionguru! No threads ever stay on topic, and few threads can ever continue without Bush's name coming up, so I hope you'll stick around!

Kraftdinner, That's exactly what I was just telling stusi. Topics don't matter.

stusi,

I hope that you will post more often too.

It really thrills me when you respond to my silly comments with such vigor and emotion.

So true Helen. Sometimes it's funny to see how long one can last without bringing up politics... it can't be done!!

Me too. I love you stusi.

stusi is so sweet.

He calls me Baghdad Helen because I am anti-war. Maybe I should call him stusi-sweet because he's so sweet.

My nearest neighbors are 1/2 mile up the road..close enough if we need each other for something, but far enough away away that we can both p** in the pasture if we want to and not offend anybody. I like it just fine like that. If I was in Jane's shoes, I'd probably put up an 8 foot fence and paint it pink

This group hug-filled lovefest is a bit too much for me. I have to get back to my telescope overlooking the community pool.

Gee,

I suspected that you might have that response, stusi. Well, at least you didn't address me as Baghdad Helen this time.

Sorry, I just saw your post bear - "KD tell your friend to tell her neighbor, she is free to install a security camera over looking the canyon & wire it into her television. When they want to see the view, turn on the TV."

LoL!! Or, after she puts the fence up, tell porno producers they're free to use the backyard.

As for Helen, she's changed. I agree that she used to be crabby to people, but only to those she felt were back-stabbing her.

LOL!!!!!!!! Kraft thats the funniest thing I've ever seen you type here!!

Oh Helen, READING the posts here, you spelled neighbor, its neighbour with a U!

Speaking of computer use, I just read on a war blog that computer access in Iraq right now is $5.00 per hour. (U.S.)

NearTheSea,

"Oh Helen, READING the posts here, you spelled neighbor, its neighbour with a U!"

Your spelling is a variant spelling of the word neighbor. The American Heritage Dictionary of the English Language uses the spelling that I used. You may use either spelling.

Do you try to correct everyone's spelling or just mine?

ROFL! You have all lost it.

BTW Guru - were you not aware that Helen in the board punching bag? In the immortal words of Rosanne Barr.... "What are you? New?"

Helen in an anti-american, blame america first, closet communist with questionable typing skills and a tendancy to edit at will with the hidden purpose of driving all of these good god fearing flag waving rebublicans crazy.

But we do love her

BTW - In the rock opera that is RT - I'm the kind, beautiful, intelligent, perfect but woefully misunderstood one..... damnit.. I forget, I lost that role..... :::checking charachter synopsis::: Oh yes, I'm the semi evil sarcastic one...

LOL! You're lethal, neonmania!!!!

Just wait....your character is still under development and unless you hide UNDER the Round Table it will grow here by unimaginable leaps and bounds!!!!

Welcome to the land of right wing fantasy.

You misunderstand the subtle nuances of charachter development... One is rarely introduced at full evil capacity - you occasionally will get glimpses but it is not until the propoer protagonist is introduced that evil shows it's true and complete self.... in a setting filled with Archie Bunker wannabees, there has not yet been a need to fully reveal the depth of my character

Neon

I'm looking forward to that revelation. So far, the nuances have been remarkable.
