That clause has been in every enlistment contract for over 20 years...
It is true in time of need you are not discharged until hostillities cease and you are formally released.
It is all there in plain english for all to read BEFORE signing up.

You are held to a additional 6 years right after your initial enlistment. After 9 years of service you are no longer OBLIGATED. These were individuals who had done their 20 years of service. AND HOSTILITIES HADN'T BEGUN unless you count the stolen election as the beginning...

Better go back and read your enlistment contract....
The 6 year and 9 year obligations are for personnel who have not completed enough active service time... you either are in the Ready Reserve or Inactive Ready Reserve... has nothing to do with hostilities and dipshit we have been at "war" since 9/11
