Also, raw, if you'd listen to anything other than those left-leaning media programs....

Sadam...remember him..don't hear much about that evil doer anymore....

You'd have heard that special forces are on his tail.

HaHaHa! I don't listen to any left leaning media programs except one on Friday nights on PBS.Its a pretty well rounded progem ..they even let the other side give their opinion and they discuss it ..get this...without yelling!!!

I've heard that about the special forces for months..we'll see.I'd love to see him rounded up. Bin Laden too..you remember him don't you?

I'd prefer you called me Bunz.....but Raw is ok if you like it.

How are you doing Linda? I think about you often and hope all is well.

Babysitter?? Luckily they live about an hour away now so I'll only get the honor when I want to do it and not when they want me too! I did babysit for about fifteen minutes while they were still in the hospital so the parents could walk the halls. That is it so far.

Daughter is going back to work next week and daddy gets to stay home with the baby since he is laid off. Works out nice.

He should be out of work for at least nine more months..no work here...so at least the baby won't have to be cared for by strangers...or grandma!!!

My daughter is 32 so she waited a good long time. She did better than I did, I was 19.But it makes me a fairly young grandma so I should have lots of years to pester the little ones.

My oldest girl just turned 20 and is so busy with horses and cattle and college that men are very low on her list. My 13 year old has 2 more years before she's even allowed to talk to boys on the phone. I'm going to be an old geezer if I ever see any nietos at all...congratulations!!!

Silly thinking twelvepole. All repubs are not wealthy....just the FEW at the top who suck up the bucks of those unsuspecting ones -- those poor, ignorant Repugs are left with empty hands out...wondering why they didn't get a tax cut and why their job is being outsourced to India.

The difference is Helen, they don't stand around waiting for the government handouts, they take action to improve their situations.

Knowing my girls and their interests, that's highly unlikely..

Of course not, let then grow up poor and needy... with both hands out.

So, a woman who doesn't become a Republican wifey is by definition a poor, needy beggar? That's a good one twelve

Boy, twelvepole, as usual you are way off base.

No, not all Republicans are wealthy and most certainly not all Democrats expect handouts. It's those few Republicans sitting at the top of the food chain who suck the blood out of the rest of us. They expect special treatment and depending upon who sits at the helm, they get it - at the expense of the rest of us.

Now, you may think this is fine and Jim Dandy, but I most certainly don't. And judging by recent polls, more and more people agree - Democrat, Independent AND Republican.

Democracy in Iraq

Isn't this sad. We can have a political agenda but Iraq cannot....In response to U.S. criticism of the hand picked council...."The council is trying its best. You have to remember we are 24 personalities," said Mowaffak Rubaie, a moderate Shiite Muslim physician who returned from exile in Britain. "We have never worked together. There is no precedent for what we are doing."

The US, desperate for international boots on the ground, had trumpeted an agreement to welcome Turkish troops in Iraq. That agreement was torpedoed by the Iraqi Governing Council, which has flatly (and rightly) refused to allow any troops from any neighboring countries.
The Council's decision wasn't rooted in any powers granted by the US occupiers, but by sheer moral force. The understanding was clear -- you allow Turks into our country, and we will shoot at them. When your puppets don't dance

Hand Picked Baghdad Officials Frustrates Washington

The United States is deeply frustrated with its hand-picked council members because they have spent more time on their own political or economic interests than in planning for Iraq's political future, especially selecting a committee to write a new constitution, the officials added. "We're unhappy with all of them. They're not acting as a legislative or governing body, and we need to get moving," said a well-placed U.S. official who spoke on the condition of anonymity. "They just don't make decisions when they need to."

A Republican Wife named her two dogs Timex and Rolex.
A friend asked why she named them that.
"Well, duh," she replied, "because they're watchdogs, of course."
