I just watched the Jessica Lynch interview.
How could they expect such a gentle, childlike girl to be a soldier?

Now the severly injured are appearing on nightline.

It was HER choice to enlist & if you watched all of the interview, she stated the was always taking a dare, was the one of the 3 kids in the family that was the most daring.

One thing that was clear about that interview is that the captain running that outfit should be court martialed. And not for making a wrong turn.Seems that all the clerk's weapons jammed and the heavy machine gun provided most of the convoy's defense until "it too jammed". Curious that the guys from the other outfit that were in her Humvee were firing until the crash.

There is no excuse for allowing such laxity in basic things even if they were "only a supply unit."
