Linda, don't pay any attention to dave... he is just a bitter liberal who knows that America really doesn't want socialistic policies in place and deep down supports President Bush.
When our troops need to do something to lessen more killing, see how quick they jump in and complain.
LOL, there is no pleasing these people, they would still be complaining about Saddam's mistreatment of his people if we hadn't went and ousted him as the UN resolution supported.
It all comes back to... We did what the UN had in place and they were to inept to do.

Dave, in reading your posts I wonder just how old you are? You certainly must be very young. There is a second possibility but I won't go into that.
You have become one of those that see black as white. You seem to be a follower of anything suggested as "the right thing to do".
Life is not black and white. There is good, bad and mostly a gray in between.
Our (the American) government does make mistakes but many times what looks like a mistake is something done in our best interest.
Maybe when you become Senator, Congressperson or President you can change this.

I don't know how old anybody is but we can all read a history book and see what happens when a government feels it is unaccountable to anyone and want to be feared. It sows the seeds of their own destruction in every case.
