Man took his beloved down to the Multnomah County Court House in Portland Oregon, and was denied a marriage license...
Seems it is ok to bypass the law and allow same sex couples get married but you still can't marry your.... dog... Discrimination!
He and others around the country should swarm every courthouse until this discrimination is reversed! Obviously you can't be selective which laws you will back and which ones you bypass...

Twelve,
You should write to Bush to have him amend the constitution so it will be OK for a person to marry their dog. I think Bush will allow it along as a female human marries a male dog or a male human marries a female dog.
Better yet he can also add that it is OK for a male dog to marry a female dog if they are in love. Many dogs have children these days without being properly married.
Marriage is a Human Right not a Heterosexual Privledge
Bigotry and hate will not be tolerated.

Oh so now you want an amendment.. figures
If they continue to allow deviants to marry, then all deviants should be allowed to be married.

There is a pretty good sized group in England that want laws passed so animals have to wear clothing. It just embarrasses the heck outa them when a dog walks around before God and their kids with his you know what swinging in the breeze. They are convinced it is unnatural and will give kids 'ideas' - I guess your 'idea' is one they are afraid of.

Twelve, are you saying that dogs are deviants? I guess they look like it at times when they lick themselves but some people do disgusting things too.
Actually, to set your mind at ease dogs have no legal standing and so far they can't sign contracts so I don't think you have to worry.

Twelve,
Rarely have I met an individual so narrow minded. Your wording seems to convey disgust and you obviously consider the person to be a deviant.
It's just an "alternate" doggy-style.

That's right, twelve. Why do you think the government has the right to tell people who they can love? We need more love in this country.
If they wish to marry their dogs, then I have absolutely no objection and am aware that it won't change my life one little bit.

I know several guys that are married to dogs. (DemOGrats)'
"An old, long-whiskered man once said to Teddy Roosevelt: 'I am a Democrat, my father was a Democrat, my grandfather was a Democrat.' Roosevelt then said: 'Then if your father had been a horse thief and your grandfather had been a horse thief, you would be a horse thief?'" --Will Rogers

twelvepole - What does paying taxes have to do with marriage?... a stay at home mom contributes nothing to the tax base...
Of course she does twelve....she's bears all those 'tax deductions'. You know the one's where, UNDER BUSH'S TAX CUTS, families get those wonderful child credits?
Also if gays are allowed to marry then read EAG's link [second page mainly] that speaks to **all the other types of 'marriages'** ultra liberals are also working to get approved. Those groups are supporting the gay marriage movement so it will be easier for their different agendas [types of marriages] approved.
Just think of all those tax deductions then.

Sure fenix - It lists their names and the changes they are working for.
This was the link in EAG thread. This is page two...more on page one.

Fenix, obviously the next thing will be people wanting to marry their dogs. Stuff like this has to be stopped to keep normal marriages real. Democrats WANT people to marry their dogs because because their upkeep is less of a tax burden.

KD - What you appear to be failing to realize is that there are people who hold the position that whatever they do in the privacy of their own home shouldn't be anyone else's business.
And on the joking around part about dogs....many have been registered to vote.

I can't believe how some people's minds work.
You're all hell-bent on lumping homosexuals in with child-molesters and people that want to marry their dogs. I've been here a few years now and I've never heard anyone talk about such garbage until Twelve started to make his anti-gay comments. I find the connections insulting.

I find the connections insulting
Awww truth hurts don't it...
It is because it is all DEVIANT behavior... they should all be lumped together... no difference between Tom wanting to marry Ralphie... than Sue wanting to marry Jane...
Why is it that a person can't marry their dog, cat or anything they "love"? Are you starting to draw lines?
After all sex has nothing to do with it right? I seem to remember those words coming from you...

Those words came from me when you had me on Ignore, Twelve.
I don't draw any lines because I don't think the way you do. I don't make the connection between gays and dogs. You brought that up and lumped into your "deviant behaviour" category because YOU'RE the one with the deviant thoughts to begin with. Sorry to be so blunt sweetheart, but you just don't get it.
