Yes helen I believe it is to some....but you're sure not one of them.
You're kind of like kerry.....he voted for the war then wouldn't vote to give them the money they needed. Oh...but he supports the troops too. [/b]LOL[/b]
Then again that statement's really not fair to kerry. You have him beat by a mile with your anti-troop and poor enemy posts/links. You know helen....the enemy are the ones killing OUR soldiers.

Pure Bushie lies.
Kerry tried to get more funds for medical care for reservists into the bill, and Bush threatened to VETO the bill if it helped out reservists.
Kerry also tried to get Bush's tax reduction rescended for richest people to help pay for the war- again Bush threatened VETO.
Kerry also tried to get the money given to Iraq to be given as a loan; again, Bush threatened VETO.
It is also a lie that the troops "needed" the money. The generals claimed there was enough money to last until at least Jan 2004.
Bush probably gave the money for the troops to all of those thrid world countries so they would be our "allies" in Iraq.

ROFLMHO
helen - If you're suggesting that blaming our soldiers for firing on ambulances is pro-American....then maybe that's where your problem is. You can't make a distinction between blaming our troops for doing this and understanding they are DEFENDING THEMSELVES.
sad....very sad.

Oh....so now you speak for EVERYONE here. lol Not true helen....there are many here who see your anti-American troop posts QUITE clearly and have no problem telling the difference between supporting our troops and posting links that are always blaming them for their actions.

helen - why don't you just click on YOUR OWN LINK and read the story.
--------------------
reamond - As you well know all bills are voted on as presented. Kerry voted NO!! Doesn't matter his excuses now....he voted NO ...knowing full well what it would mean not to fund.
Many who didn't agree....many who wanted other things in the bill as requirements...STILL VOTED YES...saying NOT DO SO WOULD BE TO NOT SUPPORT OUR TROOPS. Which was true. Go read for yourself all the democrat statements on google to verify that as true. THEY saw it as not supporting our troops....and that's why they voted for it even thought they disagree with something about it.
I believe only 11 dems voted no on the funding. Puts kerry in a very, very small minority.

I clicked on my link, Occupation and Resistance and read the story about the ambulances.
So, I didn't accuse the soldiers of shooting at ambulances, after all. Hmmmmm

I encourage to just ignore Baghdad Helen and her new protege Kissing her ass Kiara.... they do not even have a thimble full of knowledge when it comes to the US military, have shown time and again that their allegience is with the Iraqi insurgents...
Linda, these two creatures are so beneath you, I wouldn't waste your time... they know nothing and refuse to even learn anything.
It is a pity that they don't post topics they at least have a modicum of knowledge....

Kiara & Helen, it's such a joke to watch Twelve and his tormented ramblings. Twelve, you being a Christian and all, did God tell you to call Helen & Kiara -unts? The God I know feels sick about what you said to them.
And Linda, I'm starting to wonder about you. Kiara has done nothing but try and understand you, many times giving you the benefit of the doubt. Why do you have to be rude to her? Where has she ever been rude to you? Why is questioning a government such a big deal to you? Why, when you questioned Clinton, wasn't it such a big deal?
Kiara & Helen, I think you 2 are the best poster's going.

Thanks, I've mentioned before a few times that I've learned lots from the topics that both of you and others have started here.
Helen, you've provided links to left and right views so there is something for everyone to explore and find a balance if they choose to but some seem to fear knowledge. It's almost like some here feel threatened when they encounter a knowledgeable post that does not support President Bush and right away they attack instead of debate.
Part of the problem here is that some seem to think that all of Iraq and all the people of Iraq are our enemies when they're not. America has no "right" to harm innocent people to "bring democracy" just because they have it in their own country. The Bush government seems to have a limited knowledge of the cultures of the Middle East and has shown no respect for them. Now the people are showing more hatred towards America than they did before. It's a very dangerous way to "bring peace" because it's just not going to work. All of Iraq is not our enemy now and it wasn't before the war either.
It's like trying to force someone to love you and respect you and think as you do, all the while thinking that you will get through to them with a bit more control and force and a few gifts on the side. It just does not work. People are individuals and so are countries. Not everyone wants to be like the US believe it or not, and it's arrogant to think they do.

'We have dispatched Dr. David Kay...to search for the bio-warfare agents we believe hidden in Senator Kerry's forehead. If Senator Kerry has used botox as part of a wrinkle enrichment program, he is in violation of UN Resolution 752. Upon receiving Dr. Kay's report, the weapons of mass destruction that Senator Kerry so adamantly insists do not exist...may well be above his very nose.'" --Dick Cheney when asked whether John Kerry has had Botox treaments
