Evolution is pushed as a religion, reamond; if you cleaned your own eyes and ears out you would see that

That is one of the more idiotic things I have ever heard.

C/Coffee: Evolution is not taught as a religion. Its taught as a theory, a science. It is or was, even taught in most Catholic schools. Why should the Christians feel the need to restrict it?

IMO, education is exposure. You know what I find funny? That Christ's greatest command: "Love one another" - can never be accomplished without understanding. If you have little or no exposure to anothers way of life, it all looks so black n white. But that perception is usually a major falsehood. Have you seen the Iraqie/ME Children on the news, damming the Americans?
Five, six, seven years old! -- that is what they are taught from so early on - How can they think or know any different with zero exposure to anything but that?

Why do liberals fear a college no one is forced to go to?

Where is your "tolerance" and acceptance... What I am seeing is liberals acting as they accuse conservatives as acting... funny how it works both ways...

AIN'T LIFE GRAND...

It's too bad that their blindness can't see they are killing more soldiers than President Bush ever has... Protest Loud and Proud! Your fellow taliban and insurgents are rejoicing at the support...

Bunni, evolution is being tought as humanism, that is why I compair it to a religion.

Neroter, if it is tought as a theory, and the idea is to get to the truth, why isn't creationism tought as well. As the JFK quote states, you must show all viewpoints: however, public schools are not doing this. All they are showing is evolution, and calling creation a myth. There is more evidence for creation then evolution out there, but the viewpoint of creation is stiffled.

It's a shame: people will not even think of creation at all, because it is Bible based. Even though there is no evidence of evolution, it is tought as fact: where are the "missing links"? Still missing. There is no link to be found. You cannot evolve life from nothing, it must be created.

In Christ,
Rick

Genesis 1:1

"I am trying here to prevent anyone saying the really foolish thing that people often say about Him: "I'm ready to accept Jesus as a great moral teacher, but I do not accept His claim to be God." That is one thing we must not say. A man who was merely a man and said the sort of things Jesus said would not be a great moral teacher. He would either be a lunatic....or else he would be the devil of Hell. You must make your choice. Either this man was, and is, the Son of God: or else a madman or something worse. You can shut Him up for a fool, you can spit at Him and kill Him as a demon; or you can fall at His feet and call Him Lord and God. But let us not come with any patronizing nonsense about His being a great human teacher. He has not left that open to us. He did not intend to."

No, it's taught as the theory of evolution. Period.
