Still waiting fenix, it seems you don't have a valid answer and just posted this because you hate President Bush, now what a surprise....

AIN'T LIFE GRAND...

It's too bad that their blindness can't see they are killing more soldiers than President Bush ever has... Protest Loud and Proud! Your fellow taliban and insurgents are rejoicing at the support...

"Once again your lack of military knowledge leaves you to blame President Bush for a lack of planning, these people are PRISONERS... not every day citizens... They belong in prison, I am sure that the President's advisors had this under control a few bad soldiers have done this, not the entire Administration or the Military.... that would be the same as we would hate all Marylanders just because you live there."

Twelve, the Neocon hate that you mention toward me is understandable. I represent to you and your group a truth that you can't admit. Why, for example, did you ignore my question on the thread about torture concerning the Rush Limbaugh quote. Linda skirted it too by changing the subject. And why did Bear ignore my question, asked three times, about the significance to him of the medals awarded to Kerry...the Bronze and the Silver Star. Maybe you are beginning to see with more clarity your true position and you hate me for showing it to you. And maybe when you see your true position you are too cowardly to admit it.

The General that investigated the torture has said that 60% of the "prisoners" should not have even been in prison. They were innocent people that were brought in during "sweeps" last Fall.

One thing is for sure-- you won't hear the Bush and the Republicans going on about Saddam's rape and torture rooms anymore.

Just think-- Bush used to say about whether it was worth it to topple saddam " Well would you rather have the rape and torture rooms still in use? " He can't say that anymore.

The investigation of this has shown it was not a few bad apples. It was a systemic problem due to improper leadership. Bush is the one that allowed contractors and other personel to handle the prisoners, and lead by example the military police who tortured and raped and possibily murdered prisoners.

baghdad helen, if your question was about the good people of Iraq, it needed no answer.... those prisoners are not the "good" people of Iraq.

I have talked to two mothers of soldiers in Iraq and they are appalled as the rest of us, however they are also tired of playing nice with the insurgents and desire swift and harsh action to take place.

::I ask you fenix, if your conversation with the one cladean, had been that he supported what the US soldiers have been doing, would you of been so quick to come here and post?::

At the beginning of this whole thing last year I did post about their support for the war. As for would I post about a conversation where someone condoned the physical and sexual humilition of the prisoners. No, mainly because it would have been a very short conversation. The idea and anyone that supports it sickens me too much to actually stick around for it.

If it's really "common" sense, why do so few people actually have it?
