Linda also accused us of starting threads just to put down others. Linda, find one thread I started since I've been on Vendio just to put down you or 12 or anyone else and please link it here. Once again put up or shut up.

So Near, if I said you called me a Nazi or some other insult, which you haven't done, you wouldn't question it? Right.

You bring up a good question Kraft. Was it here that I heard 'Republicans' or anyone that remotely liked Bush being called a Nazi???? there were a few other names, but I can't remember

The last time I remember seeing 'Nazi' here was when Linda posted an article about viewers not getting Fox News in Canada and that it 'smacked of Nazi-ism".

But Kiara, if she said it 'smacked of Nazism' didn't she mean your FCC or whatever it is that controls TV and Radio??
As I see it, she didn't call any poster a Nazi, or did I totally miss something?

kiara - To be clear for you, once again, I have never called anyone a Nazi. never.
I did post that your governments control of what Canadian citizens are allowed to see and not allowed to see smacks of Nazism to me. And it does. People should be free to have all points of views available to them....not just what their government wants them to know.

helen - No one shoud be called a nazi or anti-american or a disgrace to their country.
Helen
I guess that all depends on whether one supports the American right of freedom of speech and on how one defines what the word "anti" means to them.
In my dictionary [just for kiara ] to be anti-any-issue means:
1) opposite in kind, position or action. 2) opposing: hostile toward. 3) counteractive. and 4) preventive of: curative of
Our government was formed on the premise that we elect our President - our Congress and others to represent us....they then have the power [by their vote] to set *American policy* - to decide what our policy will be. We are, of course - free to disagree with that policy and speak out about it- just as people are free to make the judgement that being opposed to that same American policy is anti-American.
No different than being anti-war, anti-welfare, anti-abortion or anti most anything. But being anti-American, imo alone, does mean one is not supporting American policy.

"In all fairness to Linda, when she wants to debate she can be pretty good at it."
