Welcome back Twelve!

If it's really "common" sense, why do so few people actually have it?

man, did anyone really read his post here.

Someone turned him for something, and he was suspended, as he called it a 'vacation'

This is really starting to suck.. this will be the second time someones called monitors in to delete threads or suspend posters.

I thought this board wasn't monitored? Well see what little I know. Sometimes it does get hairy in here but when that happens I just leave and take a nap. Works most of the time.

Near, how do you know somebody 'turned him in'? I'm sure it was his own words that got him into trouble if he was suspended.

Libra, its not.

Kraft, here I'll paste what he said on the previous page, and let you decide, it sounds like it to me......

I'M BAAAAACK!

Vacation was sweet, thanks to the little limp wristed cry baby, I appreciated it...

Now I wonder what that means?

That will make this the 2nd time moderaters came in then IF someone did turn him in.

(see the IF, I don't know, only Twelve knows)

Knowing Twelve, it sounds to me like he took a vacation with a limp-wristed crybaby.

KD: Knowing Twelve, it sounds to me like he took a vacation with a limp-wristed crybaby.

Either that or he was going to gay bars trying to convert all the deviants into a straight lifestyle

NTS, someone whined to vendio and so they did give me a 30 day vacation...

So I made the best of it by supporting the Boy Scouts and other programs that realize that homosexuality is wrong and needs to be recognized as a deviant behavior no longer accepted.

I'm also curious as to why Vendio would tell you that a limp-wristed person whined on you? Did the person send in pictures of their arms? That just seems weird to me.

Sheesh! Vendio is a business and their own user agreement reads that they can delete posts or terminate users at their own discretion. This is just part of it.

2.4. Monitoring. Vendio has no obligation to monitor community forums; however, Vendio reserves the right to review materials posted to a Communication Service and to remove any materials in its sole discretion. Vendio reserves the right to terminate your access to any or all of the Communication Services at any time, without notice, for any reason whatsoever.

2.8. Suspension. We may, in our discretion, permanently or temporarily revoke the posting privileges of an account if you breach this Agreement, or if we believe the circumstances warrant such action.

http://www.vendio.com/company/comm_terms.html

Because Vendio is a successful business they most likely want to attract more users. How does it look for them to have a troll on their boards who tries to chase away anyone new that shows up and then spends the rest of his time harrassing and name calling. Witness one of twelve's first greetings to someone new last evening once he was out of the gate again, just because they don't support Momma Linda's views. We are all responsible for our own words so pointing fingers and trying to defend a troll who has been suspended more than once before is kind of silly.

Who pointed fingers, and at whom, is the real question. No names were mentioned.

Good post kiara! Momma Linda, I like that and its Momma NTS to twelve too

LOL that is a fact kiara, however they don't come here unless someone points them this way...

I don't have any grudge against that person, they did what they thought was right and vendio agreed... The world needs sensitive whiner types... makes the rest of us look good...

No one had to complain to Vendio. All they had to do was read his posts. Before he got suspended they were getting pretty foul.

Well so much for the stuff that goes on in here. Maybe everyone will be a little nicer, but I doubt it. Maybe we all need to take a much needed little vacation to screw our heads on right. Anyone agree.....?

As I remmember Twelve was making noise about getting someone thrown off their server for maintaining what he viewed as an unpatriotic site.

Went so far as contacting the host company which can be located in the whois directory.

I guess censorship is a two way street.

You remember wrong dave... but what else is new.

My statements were to those who disliked certain pictures that were being posted and steps they could take to make their complaints known... just like certain people here made their complaints known to vendio... as I said I hold no grudge... I expected it sooner or later but was having fun while it lasted

I for one thought skylite and heberrts (or whatever the name is) should have given notice as to what was posted in those threads. I was totally shocked when I opened them and that is why they are on ignore. All those two did was post pictures I don't know if they even knew how to write but since they are on ignore I will never know and I really don't care.

I don't think anyone should get suspended for any reason, even Twelve. I'm well aware that he's wrong about everything he talks about, but I still appreciate the fact he doesn't back down, no matter how much common sense you use on him. Without Twelve, I might not have realized just how strong my convictions are or how for sure I feel about being on the right road.

Libra,

The photo of the dead cab driver in Iraq that was censored here was used by Poets against the war.
No article or comment that skylite has posted here is obscene or objectionable. In fact, it would be beneficial to you to read some of his articles and comments.

Both posters that you mention not only know how to write but they also know how to think.

But then, if you really don't care, why mention it?

I don't believe in suspending posters either. Some of the most outstanding posters on the internet have been suspended simply because they have strong opinions and generate some hostility. The little third grade tattle tales email Vendio and that results in suspension.
