I probably shouldn't have said what I did about neocons and spelling....poor Webster...his dictionary will be vilified as Liberal propaganda, denounced as anti-American, suppressor of free spelling and a left wing conspiracy of lies!!! Then they'll demand PROOF that HE spelled everything correctly.

poor Webster

After Bush succeeds in "cleansing" the cultures of the Mid-East and introducing fundamentalist Christianity, he will have an un-Neocon book burning to "purify" the culture of the U.S. All liberal thoughts will be set on fire just like Nazi Germany.

Judging from the reaction here, Clinton's book will be on the top of the pile along with poor Webster. Now the question among us is who will light the fire.

Parklane, did you think they* killed Marilyn Monroe because she was a politcal liability to Kennedy? Unprovable as it is, I have always believed that in the back of my mind.

I read some on some website where there was this whole long diatribe on how 9/11 was a planned conspiracy. Some things sited made me go...hmmm?...but on a whole, I had to dismiss it. Even if it were true - any of the conspiracy theories - I think most Americans find it very difficult to believe our leaders would be that maligned to do something like that? Do you think thats a true statment?

I am beginning to think there have been only two presidents in this country. Bush and Clinton. Now it seems everything that Bush has done wrong can somehow be blamed on Clinton. It's like an older sibling blaming a younger sibling for breaking his mother's favorite vase. "Well, if so-and-so hadn't of been playing ball in the house. . ." (Stay tuned for the next episode of the Brady Bunch, LOL!)

We'll never know the full truth. It very well could be that you don't want to know the full truth. Some cannot take that kind of truth. It's like a parent having an affair. As a child you know lies are being told and it hurts, but knowing the truth would be even more hurtful and shocking. Personally, I'm ready for some truth. I'm sick of lies and excuses.

We do need to protect our "boarders". My son is a boarder in my house and I need his rent money! All joking aside, I remember going to Canada about four years ago and needing nothing but my driver's license to get in and out of the country. Not much security there.

Cheryl, we do need to protect all aspects of the in's/and outs of this country alot better now. I can appreciate your sentiment and desire for truth. You can only play so much and then it gets old.

I am kinda worried they are going too far though. Down here there is a ferry going from one county to another. Comuters use it mostly. They announced yesterday they will start doing random checks onto the ferry and there might be delays...bla,bla,bla. All I could think is: what the hell is going across the river, they need to do this? I dont think its a big drug trafficing route and I can't imagine what terrorists are doing crossing the river on a ferry to a very old sleepy town. I dont know, maybe they are gonna jump off the ferry onto a covert boat and sail down the chesapeake or something? I dont like all this crunching on people's lives.

LOL !! It reminds me of a scene from an old movie -- every time the grandmother farted they would blame the dog.
