Crow - WOW - Completely f*cking uncalled for! Before you toss out hurtful statements likke that, you should make sure you know a little history. If you don't know the history, probably best not to make a complete *ass out yourself in a desperate attempt to assert some rather pathetic form of superioirty.

Linda - Sorry - I know you don't like it but that one offended me and I had to speak my peace.

fenix this has been going like this all night. Must be full moon.

I like that Pot....meet kettle. I thought of that earlier tonight when I read some posts.

Now I don't want anything to happen in November because I work at a polling place and I don't want the one I work at bombed. For the pay we get it isn't worth it.

I honestly do think that there are people hired to monitor discussion boards otherwise how do you think they catch those men for soliciting underage girls for sex. This happens a lot around here. Not to long ago they arrested a man in Wisconsin who came from California just to have sex with a young girl. The young girl turned out to be a cop.

How do we know when someone comes in and posts that they don't belong to an organization that hires people to read the boards. We don't know that. There are a lot of laws with the internet and I am sure vendio would have to give up names and addresses whether they like it or not.

{{{fenix}}} - I think that upset you more than it did me, because I know he has nothing to offer that's better than what I had.

And besides he's here just as much, if not more, than I am. I know, 'cause he's been my shadow lately. Obsessed with me, even when I'm not posting he continues to bring up my name. When other subjects are being discussed he brings my name up.

But on his offer .....I can't even invision the most desperate, lonely person in the world ever considering he'd be a better alternative than being by oneself.

Re-elect President Bush!!

fenix, i thought at one time maggie was fluffy (but quickly nixed that idea) and then thought plsmith. crow as pat sounds a little too...um...childish? But you never know what personna's one can create if they're mad enough. In my observation, Helen's posts dont stand too well on their own so I wouldn't be surprised if someone were recruited here for assistance.

Crowfarm is not alone in his resentment toward Linda.

Linda, Your comments are so disgusting to me that I choose not to spend much time here anymore. There is an entrie group here who resent your hateful comments every day and now you hatefully insinuate threats toward other posters mentioning the FBI and surprisingly from you a warning about libel against Ann Coulter which is laughable if it wasn't so tragically ignorant and in my opinion an effort on your part to eliminate even more posters from this board. Surely, you aren't worried about someone's welfare.

Linda, I don't think that you will be able to stand alone on this board with only a few rightwingers like yourself and a few suck ups. Ingratiating people who are worried that people may return your nasty insults don't represent the true Democratic spirit in this country today. We need power and people who speak up for the truth not a bunch of people who are weak and ineffective wusses.

Helen

Great post, Helen. I've been trying to stay away from here, as well.

Linda

It sounds to me like you may have been causing people's demises on these boards from your FBI comment. Dr. Harry reading the threads sent you into a frenzy, but commenting that the FBI and Ann Coulter will get us for our comments is perfectly okay in your book? So, it's okay for those you look up to (Ann Coulter) to read these boards and comment, but not anyone else? So, who is going to point Ann Coulter to these boards? And, I can call her an ignorant, bigoted little fool anytime I'd like to. Oh, I just did.

People give back only what you give, Linda. You may not mean for your posts to sound so mean spirited, but they are. We hardly ever hear your personal opinion. Well, we do if you consider googling articles and using other people's words to express them. The problem with you is you take everything literally. Every comment here seems to be a personal attack on you. Every article you read seems to be a way of justifying your position. I swear, I don't think you even read thoroughly everything you post. No one, outside of Ann Coulter herself, could really, really be so ignorant.

There, crowfarm, now maybe Ann will come after me as well.

In my comment above to you Linda, I forgot to add Al's advice. Focus on the word, "unthinking". Blind obedience and unconditional love is dangerous in the case of the Bush administration.

Unthinking respect for authority is the greatest enemy of truth. - Albert Einstein

So I guess fenix is now counted among the ingratiating suckups and wusses because she cares enough about about some human decency in her post.

The moon dust must have worn off. Helen is back to her disgusted digusting self.

ed to add: Cheryl, I may be wrong but I read Linda's comment as tounge in cheek about Coulter. Who cares if she reads these boards. They are stupid chat boards, but anybody can read them.

"So I guess Fenix is now counted among the ingratiating suckups and wusses because she cares enough about about some human decency in her post."

Gee, I didn't know that about you Neroter. I've endured endless attacks along with serious name calling and unsubstantiated charges without justification. On these occasions, I haven't seen you rush vigilantly to my defense -- not that I needed any defense but then, neither did linda. She tosses her insults and insinuations about and then expects no one to respond.

Sometimes, we fail to see what others are enduring and focus only on replies to our individual comments. In that respect I am very sensitive and during the last three years I've seen it all. I've seen the nasty comments made by Linda to posters, not only to me, but to others as well and I can understand their anger.

No moon dust can be associated with me, Neroter. I'm very straightforward and call it as I see it. If you call that disgusting, that's your problem, not mine. I call it truth and integrity.

Helen

ed to correct name.

Helen, I am probably pretty new to this board right? Relatively speaking anyway. If you want my opinion, I think everybody gets pretty mean to everybody here. But there might be a line one is either unaware of doesnt care they are crossing. I'm sorry if I've hurt you, but I also think you've done your share of it, too. Even if its in the name of integrity and truth (Your truth I might add)- that doesnt make it any less hurtful. I dont have a whole lot in common with Linda, but my view is she doesnt try to hurt people. She has always been pleasant to me. But aside from myself - and I could be wrong, but what I've seen so far with her interactions with others is minor compared to some of the things you say to her. If she states what she believes or likes, why is that personal attack on anybody? And yes, I do see she gives it back, but I really do not see her doing it first. JMO

A friend just asked me, "What would be the purpose in delaying the elections?

Would the Republicans delay them until there's no threat of terrorist attack?

That's INDEFINITELY!

So George WOULD get to be king!

And, hey, didn't bush say the world is a safer place now...then why should we worry about more terrorist attacks???

The Republicans should make up their mind ...are they going to win the election by scaring people or reassuring them that they're safer????????????

Sounds kind of flip-floppy to me!

Crow I think delaying the elections would be a bad move for Bush. He (his camp)would have to know that. It might sound good on paper but the media would be ALL over it! Not to mention congress, etc.

Nero - don't sweat it. I couldn't give a tinkers damn what Helen thinks of me. I said what I said because I believed that what Crow said crossed the line of human decency. The vast majority of the crap and insults thorwn around on here are easy enough to laugh or write off but Crows comment I found truly offensive and I said so. It's one thing to play the attack game on people personal opinions and political leanings, its another to toss out an absolutely pointless cheap shot with such personal connotations.

Helen - you and decided a long time ago to keep a healthy distance from other and because of that have maintained a silent peace. I can however tell you that if someone made a comment as potentially personally hurtful as what Crow said I would call them on it as well. If someone said something to you that i found as personally offensive as I found Crows statement to be, I would call them on it too.

That said.... I stood up and said what I felt and what I believed. Apparently when I do it it is ingratiating and wrong and when you do it it true and just. This would be a good example of why our healthy distance has been so healthy.

"I couldn't give a tinkers damn what Helen thinks of me"

I don't post with an undue concern about how anyone feels about me either, Fenix. Actually, I don't tend to hold grudges from past disagreements so I am not aware of a decision to keep a "healthy distance" from you. Forgive me If I have violated your space.

It was not the result of a particular disagreement Helen. As I remember it, after a couple weeks of conflict regarding everything under the sun, including topics we actually agreed on, there was some thread or another where you stated that you were basically keeping your distance to avoid further conflict and I respected that decision and reciprocated.

Your statement above indicated a mutual agreement..."Helen - you and decided a long time ago to keep a healthy distance"

I don't remember it, Fenix. Since we generally agree about every issue here it would make good sense to forget such an agreement. Whatever you prefer is OK with me.

Helenjw, I am with you. I could care less what most republican posters on this board think about me. I only care about defeating Bush/Cheney. The views and name calling by people like Bear1949, yellowstone, twelvetoes, Linda_K, Fenix03, ebayauctionguy, replaymedia are nothing to me. These people support failed leaders that are also waging a class war against the middle and working class people of this great country. The above people support devious failed leaders.

FOR A MUCH BETTER AMERICA WE MUST OUTSOURCE BUSH/CHENEY BY VOTING FOR KERRY/EDWARDS

OK PEEPA - I'm throwing down the gauntlet on this one - I defy you to find a single incident on these boards where I have
1) Shown support for Bush and or Cheney
2) Insulted you or called you any name whatsoever

I'm whole heartedly Democrat dearheart and not only do I know that I have never insulted you, I think this may actually be the first time I have ever even addressed you personally. As far as name calling in general, I think that if you actually pay attention, I tend to stray far away from that style. In the future, before you consider putting me in that group I would suggest that you maybe know what the hell you are speaking about.

If you really believe that I support Bush, I suggest you brush up on your reading comprehension skills before reading my contributions to this board.
