Don't be such a goof Twelve. I never said I supported Nambla, I said I DIDN'T support pedophiles. Put on your trifocals so you can catch on to what's being said a bit easier.

Thanks Fenix! Maybe that's where I get mixed up - I was under the impression that not all men that go for young boys are gay. I'll have to read up on that.

Now cell phones I will relate to. I am not an advocate of them I do have one as when I had my dial up it came in handy but now I don't and it just sits in the cradle. With our families out of town it comes in handy with long distance but after 9 and on weekends.

I don't think cell phones belong in schools, stores and especially in cars. But I have yet to see a motocycle rider use one thank goodness. If they ban the cell phone, which I know they won't, it would be the best thing that could happen.

Sorry I was off topic.

Finally, logansdad and I agree on something, we don't like to see couples groping in public. It's either repulsive or I want to get in line.

And Libra, you have probably seen motorcyclists using cellphones, they use headsets. I remember back in the early 70's when we were adapting and pasting SRC-16 units (compact flight deck communication headsets) with batteries into our motorcycle helmets. Voila, instant bike to bike communications on a freq where mush minded CBers can't walk on you.

NAMBLA is a sicko organization, if asked they would want same sex marriage and to lower the age of marriage to about three AND put an expiration date on it. Come to think of it I could get behind a movement for the expiration dating.

Let's hear some rhubarb about inclusion for ALL Americans.

Geez, I thought NAMBLA was a joke from a South Park episode. I guess I was wrong.

Linda, let me get this straight. You think that everyone should have the right to express themselves, unless it is against your neo-con mentality. I mean, to think that NAMBLA doesn't at least deserve the right to representation??? You make the ACLU out to be some Satanic cult when you make such un-American claims as you have.

I can tell you, without one doubt that those who work and are members of the ACLU do not agree with NAMBLA, however, what they do strongly agree about is that NAMBLA does deserve the right to representation by an unbiased attorney. The ACLU has represented many indivduals and organizations that I have supported, and those which I do not support, such as the KKK. I do believe that one of our rights as an American is the right to fair representation.

This doesn't change the fact that these Man/Boy Love Organizations are in my opinion wrong. You live in America, where people can assemble freely. I am in no way condoning the behaviors that they promote, however if they feel they need an organization to further their cause, they have a right to do so. What they don't have a right to do is have Man/Boy sex based on the current laws across the country. I am also guessing that many Catholic Priests would belong to NAMBLA if their behaviors towards children wasn't looked down upon so feverishly.

Doesn't anyone else find it extremely ironic, that the only poster who knew what this NAMBLA organization was.. was our very own Spiritual Guide Christian coffee.. hummmm.
Shoot.. even Twelve had to look it up with the rest of us..

Libra.. I can't help it.. you make me smile.
I really do enjoy your posts.. Maggie

<---- Watches Law & Order - also knew about NAMBLA. NABLA has actually been involved in a number of cop series plots for many years. I'm not sure if my knowledge of it is proof that I really do possess a plethora of useless knowledge thanks to using the TV for white noise (I have tinnitus, it's my coping mechanism) or that others live a less curious (or is it manic) life. I'm willing to bet that everyone here has heard of the organization before but it just slid past where I have to find out what in the world they were talking about.

Fenix, that tinnitus must be a real drag for you. I'm sorry to hear that. Did you ever think it might be caused from knowing TOO much?

It's a pain in the butt but I have had it in one form or another since I was about 8. Then it was occasional and initially resulted from a physical blow. Of course during my teenage years of invincibility I managed to convert it to full time status with the help of too many nights too close to amps without the benefit of common sense items such as ...ear plugs.

As long as I am not in complete silence I'm ok and can work around it. This has often driven boyfriends a bit insane though because it means that I also have the TV on all night.

Krafty - could be - even when I was a kid my nother insisted I was a little know it all... maybe that's what really set it off

Maggie,
I know all!! That's why I'm the leader of my own CULT.

A cult of positive thinking, common sense loving, extremely bright, humorous, tall, small, fat, thin, black, white, red, yellow, maybe even green people that smile like the Stepford wifes, because they KNOW the secrets of life.

BTW…..2 of them are even Liberals

Amen,
Don't take yourself so seriously,

colin: I find the TV media’s onslaught of gay shows to be offensive. Most are in bad taste. It seems they are shoving the gay movement down our throats

Out of curiosity what shows have you been watching and find in bad taste? Are they in bad taste because they depict "gay life"?

Let me apologize for taking so long to get back to you.

I don't watch the shows. I have caught Queer Eye a couple times, my wife likes the show. I think it's a good program. There’s a lot of humor, which is always good.

I'm taking about the big push on gay programming. The reality shows about gays picking a butt buddy, Queer like us and on and on.

Does that answer your question?

Now I have a question. Is being gay a disease, like obesity, gambling, drug abuse, pornography and all the others? Or is it a choice like obesity, gambling, drug abuse, pornography and all the others?

Amen,
Hoping your day is always just a little better then mine,

No it doesn't Colin because your post has failed to provide the name of this reliaty show that you referred to. Unless you can provide the name of the show you post is just another general fabrication to express your view point.

You answered your own question. Just like the examples you posted above, everyone has their own opinions on why they believe some people are gay.
