Hey bob,
Why is dads point of view make him a moron. I guess it is just because his point of view does not agree with you. Read and take to heart your own post about "other views" not agreeing with your own. Not everyones point of view is the same as yours, for sure. You probably have a difficult time believing that.

I wish bill a speedy recovery and the best. As a President I liked the guy. What gets me is all that some people think about is a lousy blowjob these many years after the fact, get over it.
If Bush wound up in the hospital would some of you people enjoy these comments? I do not think so.
Just because I agree or disagree with any fearless leaders I still would not wish harm or death on them no matter what party.

I also wish Bill Clinton well and I hope he has a speedy recovery. His family and friends and many others around the world are probably very worried about this because he's such a likeable fellow.

There'd be a huge difference between how the rest of the world felt if something happened to Clinton...he is STILL extremely popular and many people in other countries would be genuinely concerned.
If it was bush or Cheney, there'd be dancing in the streets...

In my book he was the one who ended the Vietnam War.

He then wanders off on a tangent about views not the same as another's, a point I alluded to only in the sense that it may be
the basis for DAD's virulence. He emphasizes his point with "for sure" at the end of a sentence, a sure sign of a tattooed mouth breather. I seldom LOL reading the internet, but I must admit that I find posts such as these terribly amusing.
BOOTCLAN's post uses FOUR, yes, FOUR, 4 syllable words - truly amazing isn't it? The intellectual levels displayed on this board astound me. Do you suppose that these posters can actually dress themselves or dare I suggest, hold a job? Their communication skills, the most basic of all human skills, suggest it may not be likely.
Crowfarm suggested that posts such as ours were futile given the opposition here - and I'm certain he's right. I suggest that it also means Mencken was right about the best form of government.
For the record, I am a registered Republican, have been since the 70's.
