Blair may proclaim to be Bush's friend, but he was also Clinton's friend and he will kiss the backside of whatever president we happen to have. He's a kiss-a#@. The people of the UK know it and most of us know it. He's a puppet with barely any mind of his own just like Bush.

Yeager to lindak...."I just clicked on your link about Bush's accomplishments........"

Many bold words on a page with links to nowhere may appear to be an answer but it's usually not.

LOL - The google links work just fine, helen.

--------------

I did not post the google links to back up this President's accomplishments. Sorry so many on the left couldn't understand that....

...but rather so one could scroll down the *many pages* of links and see just where this President has provided moneys in many different areas.

I've posted lists of his many accomplishments several times. And anyone really interested in acknowledging his many accomplishments should be capable of doing so themselves. Most aren't really interested anyway....just want to make false claims that there are none, which isn't truthful.

Those are only two reasons why we need to:

Re-elect President Bush!!!

Linda, Do you think that 18 million boost in the federal contribution to art programs around the country is more important than providing a complete drug benefit program to the elderly?

I remember my poor grandma who struggled every month to make her money last. Out of her meager Social Security check she had to try to maintain her house physically, pay utilities, buy food, and pay for the prescription drugs she needed.

Have you ever watched an elderly person struggle to survive?

Not true. I know a flat tire when I see one, and I am not a mechanic either. Anyone who is a clear thinker should be able to see Bush is a failure. I believe they call people like me swing voters. This is my first time swinging.

I'd rather not see any Federal funding go to the 'ARTS'...but rather let those to whom it is a value and an important issue to them, pay for it themselves....either through donations or through fundraisers.

I don't agree with providing a complete drug benefit program to all the elderly, no.

So you don't have any compassion for the elderly either. How sweet.

Now a few days down the road you'll be saying I'm lying.....well ya better start editing now.
Oh, I saw your little "out" ....you said "all" the elderly. Which ones are those?...the ones YOU approve of.

Personally I think a country that boasts of being "the greatest country in the world" should have the common decency, the humanity(which you lack) to take care of their seniors.
But I suppose they should be like one woman I heard of who, at age 80, had to go back to work to pay for her medications. Probably will drop dead of old age at work but won't the righties love that!
Yup, poverty stricken 5 year olds and the old ones should get a job, they shouldn't be so lazy and then they could afford medication AND food.

I remember when I was talking with my Grandma and she was telling that she had to buy all of her medicine. I was only 18 at the time and didn't realize that. I said to her, "Grandma, you have to buy all of that? I thought Social Security paid for your medicine".

Linda, you reached a new low. Let me see if I can describe you correctly.

A upper middle income, middle aged married white woman. Possibly college educated, having a husband who earns a good living, with a great salary and great benefit package including a handsome retirement plan. You own a nicely furnished home in a quiet suburban neighborhood with well manicured lawns. You belong to several social organizations and attend church regularly and are active in other church activities. You shop in upscale department stores buying name brand clothes, that you wear on your vacations that you take several times a years. You buy higher end Buicks, Mercurys, or maybe Cadillacs or Lincolns. You trade your car every three or four years. You shop for furniture at upscale stores that offer name brand furniture, such as Drexel, Baker, or Clayton Marcus. You think that life is good.

How correct am I on that? Be honest now, remember god is watching you.

Yeager, There are many women who may fit your description and yet have values diametrically opposed to those held by lindak. Financial or religious status is not a good basis on which to judge or evaluate anyone's character.

I realize that in this case you are constrained by community guidelines.

The single most uninformed, naive, misguided, ridiculous , unbelievably WRONG statement I've seen on the boards yet:

Libra,"The same education is there for everyone. "

Libra, what's it like being so far removed from the actual world we live in?
