Twelvepole “She gave one of the poorest exit manifestos you have seen”

Kinda like Alec Baldwin saying he was going to leave the country if Bush got elected. Maybe no one else would have her. Can’t blame them

Don’t you love the holier than thou attitude of the liberals. We are knuckle draggers & they are superior in intellect. Let me tell you I work the elections twice a year & you can tell the Democraps as soon as they walk in the door. They come in all hours of the day wearing the same clothes for the 4th day in a row, in a bad need of a shower. You have to show them how the ballot machine works EVERY time. The republicans come in first thing in the morning or late in the afternoon. Well dressed & not smelling of booze & garbage..

Helenjw I am glad that gun was unloaded

You had better be glad after that bit of smear that only a "knuckle dragger" could compose.

Those are all mine. I have been collecting guns for 20+ years now. I get in allot of trouble at gun auctions when they sell for half price. Better & safer investment than allot of things

My post i.e.
Aha the liar Crowfarm chinga'd herself... and she grew a pair of balls... how assuming of her.

was a parody of your post i.e.
ahhh the liar crowfart chimed in... can't even keep her own word and has the gall to question others.... how amusing

Do you see it??

Here's another parody for Crowfarm;

"Ah Ah, I know what you're thinking, punk. You're thinkin', 'Did he fire six shots or only five?' Now, to tell you the truth, I've forgot myself in all this excitement. But being as this is the .44 Magnum, the most powerful handgun in the world, and will blow your head clean off, you've got to ask yourself a question: 'Do I feel lucky?' Well, do ya, punk?"

I agree with you Crow. Guns are meant for one thing only. P.S. Have you ever heard of any spoons that killed anyone? LoL!

"It's easy to use for the type of shooting we saw in the Washington area," Haney said. "Almost an 8-year-old child can be taught to do that in an hour, an hour-and-a-half."

Helen your trust in the liberal media is overwhelming.

Had they used an even less expensive riffle (like a bolt action Remington 700 or Winchester 70 @ $600 to $700 new) in the same caliber (.223 Remington) he would have been able to take accurate shots at even longer ranges.

So the fact that a Bushmaster Semi Auto rifle (with a average cost of $900 - $1000 and not what I would consider to be cheap) was used is irrelevant.

I've spent a life time around firearms & guarantee you no 8 years old would be capable of that kind of accuracy with only 1 1/2 hours of training.

Bear, the degree of difficulty that you experienced is not indicative of everyone's learning curve.

Helen attempting to place your ignorant liberal anti gun slant on my statement doesn't wash. Your assumed idea of my learning curve is the only hope you have of rationalizing your ignorance.

Where do you see an anti-gun slant, poohbear? The fact that you see such a slant where none is stated illustrates a problem with your comprehension. Could that lack of comprehension explain your difficulty in learning how to operate a Bushmaster?

Wow….. They say liberals think they are smarter & far more superior than us. I think Helen prove that they do THINK that.

Saying an 8-year old can shoot accurately after a little practice is like saying after driving a car around a parking lot they can drive on the interstate

Re; the article that I quoted above...

Hanley was a retired old sarge in the army. He was quoted in the gun article as saying that an 8 year old could learn how to use the Bushmaster...similar to the one used by the D.C. sniper. He made that statement not to promote the idea that teaching an 8 year old would be a good idea but rather to point out that a young guy such as John Lee Malvo, age 16 could learn very quickly how to use the gun and achieve a degree of skill necessary to kill each of ten people with one shot.

While I believe that an 8 year old could learn the skill of shooting or driving, I don't believe that they have the maturity to responsibly participate in those activities.

Hellen, your lack of personal experience with a semi auto firearm of the variety of a Bushmaster, expecially in firearm instruction is self evident.

How many 8 year olds has your Sarge instructed for a hour and a half and gone out to accurately make kill shots at 200 to 300 yards.

My comprehension in the use or instruction of firearms has never been in question. How many people have you taught to safely use a firearm? When you get some experience, then you can question my ability.

I was just playing with you poobear. Nothing on this board is "self evident" but our ability to make sensible comments.

You say that your comprehension in the use of firearms has never been in question. Why then should mine be? I can't judge your shooting skill for the same reason that you can't judge mine...we have nothing on which to base our opinion. We can only with some reasonable certainty judge each other's ability to make sensible comments on this board.

I would be more inclined to use the example of a twelve year old to illustrate the ease of teaching a child how to shoot Malvo's gun. I wonder why you care so much about the possibility that a child that age could learn how to use a weapon safely?

It is a matter of self control & discipline. Yes a 8 year old can be taught to fire a Bushmaster. Firing it accurately is another matter. A 8 year old is physically incapable of the coordination it takes. I do agree (mark this date), that as a 12 year old, they are aproaching the strength and mental attitude and discipline it takes to fire a weapon accurately.
