Yellowstone, I guess I misunderstood as you've been called a neocon many times before and usually agree with their thinking so I thought you didn't object to the term. My mistake. You brought the subject up so I put a silly laughing face after my comments and had neocon as plural and meant it as generalized in my humor ......... wow, sorry you took it to heart personally.
Is that any different than Linda_k saying that we 'lefties' all want America to lose in Iraq? I don't take it to heart because I know it's not true.
And I don't agree that Kerry deliberately wounded himself and did not deserve the medals awarded him. There is no proof shown for that except what has been alleged on third-rate sites in a smear campaign.
Also, I don't think all politicians are totally honest either.... I don't put a lot of faith in any of them anymore.

Now my question is; how could you possibly have known that I would respond in that other thread when I hadn't posted before in that thread and how do you make the connection between "neocon fish" in this thread and "you" meaning me in that other thread????

Because it was a JOKE, Yellowstone. Sheesh! That's why I put the winky there. If Bear or Twelvepole would have posted first and made the comment that you did, I would have answered them the very same way.
I deliberately tossed in the flight suit comment to see if someone from the right would ONLY focus on that instead of the seriousness of my entire message, just as they so often ONLY focus on one aspect of Clinton's entire career and ignore everything else he ever did.
Trust me, it had nothing to do with you personally and believe me, if I would have known then that you took it such a wrong way I would never have mentioned it. BTW, you started the comments this evening about the flight suit, not me. Let's just leave it alone now.

Actually you did by saying this;
Yellowstone, who was going to show us pictures of all the insurgents and terrorists in Iraq and tell us it's a good thing quickly rushes out to assist Linda_k out of the room, giving us accusing looks because he thinks we ganged up on her.
I took this as a cheap-shot because as I have told you before that I will not allow you to put words in my mouth, it also goes that I will not allow you to put thoughts in my head as if I was going to do something for you, what is bolded above. I never said that I would show you any pictures. As far as the rest of that post, it doesn't bother me because as it refers to something that I did say.
I have allways respected you and I still do and I have never put words in your mouth or commited false witness against you but it seems that you are continuing to do this with me and I don't understand why. But I guess I would just as soon drop the whole matter too.

Sigh..... the "Vendio Show and Tell" story was just humor...... it was not a real authentic story.

When I tell a humourous story about the Vendio posters I include posters on both sides of the political arena. Can't poke fun at your own side?? Pitiful.

Sigh.....
In this case it was a story about one side showing and telling the other side all the good news from Iraq.
They were the "Show and Tell" ones I told the story about. I guess I could have told about the reactions of the other side but I only took a short while for my lunch and then I had to get more work done.
But then again, this was probably the reaction of the other side so I'll make it fair, fast and easy.

All I am saying is that when you post a story and only include posters from you're opposing political side, it can easilly be taken as a jab even when you may have meant it to be humourous. When you don't include posters from you're own side how the heck is anyone to see that it was meant as anything other than a jab at their personal political beliefs. What with all the back and forth banter and jabs that are taken at each other over politics.
Ok, maybe I did overreact but I think that you should be able to at least see my point, can't you??

It wasn't a princess, it ended up being someones father bending over in the shower picking up a bar of soap.

Besides, we all know he has no balls and was too afraid to go to Vietnam but finds it easy to send young men and women to do his dirty work now.
I edited my comment to show that I was referring to Bush from your previous comment about me and Bush and the flight suit.

Far be it from me to set the rules of how someone or anyone should post in here, however, it seems there is a whole slew of excuses that one can pull out of the blue to win an argument and make it seem like they meant something else.

I have read it, Yellowstone. I already explained that I would have made the exact same comment to Bear, Twelvepole or anyone else that only commented on that part of my post that evening. I thought you understood that part now.
Or else you are upset about my comment about the neocons being uptight about sex? It was humor because they always talk about Clinton and Monica.
And I realize that you are upset about my story. The reference to you in the story was from our discussion yesterday when you said something along the lines where they wanted all the insurgents in Iraq so they could fight them there and that was the plan.
But it was all meant as storybook humor and not to be taken dead serious. That's why I posted pictures of books.
I don't find humor in people bending over and soap either so I guess we just don't share each others humor and it will have to stay like that. Perhaps it's better if I never mention your name ever again if I joke on this board and then you won't take things the wrong way.
