Neroter12, you were discussing persons of religious convictions and your own beliefs and you included Yeager and I in your comment.
I said:
You have your assessment of what 'truth' is and I have mine and we shouldn't judge each other on our beliefs. That's truly 'free thinking'.
I stand by that statement. I'm not judging you on your version of what you think 'truth' is when it comes to religion and you don't know mine since I've never once discussed it here so you can't judge me either. Let's just leave it at that.

ok kiara, I'll accept that because I do believe everyone's truth is their own. You stay sweet. I'm pretty sure you work hard at that outside these boards in rl.
"If the woman DIDN'T follow Robertson, she'd be writing Dear Abbey"
Let me ask you this. If your child was having a behavioral problem, would you email Pat Robertson for help? Or do you have enough self reliance as a parent to know and understand what you might be able to do to help your child?
If this parent has email to contact PR, then she would have the Internet to research what she believes the problem might be. If she can read and interpret the bible, then she should be able to read and interpret web pages. There are many web sites that offer advice on every subject, in styles from lay advice to scientific. I could easily find several pages on childhood or teenage behavior in a short period of time on the net.
I still can't understand why a person would go to a televangelist to seek guidance for child rearing. It's a blinded, mindless following at the least.
