Yes it did say that when I signed up in 2000. But any smart person knows, remember I said smart, doesn't use the same user ID or log on name in different entities. Why or why would I use Libra63 in every place I needed a user name or log on name. That would be the most stupid thing I did. I am sorry you can't understand the use of user names it is so that you remain anonymous.

Here is what it says when you sign up for Vendio.
"Choose your username carefully, as it will become the name of your Vendio Store and your Vendio email address if you subscribe to Vendio Stores and Customer Manager. After registration is complete, Vendio usernames can only be changed by special request."
Now when someone uses the same user ID everywhere you need one it isn't choosing your User ID carefully.....

neroter - lol....yes helen comes up with some doozies every once-in-a-while, and that is but one of them. Good for a laugh though. I'm beginning to believe even she is laughing as she types her 'revised' versions of what happened. Either that or I was right and her short term memory loss is worse than I originally thought. At times it appears to me she is writing about herself and her own actions, rather than the person she's trying to blame. Maybe it's some sort of weird, self-help therapy.

Libra63, Vendio has never stated not to use your ebay ID in their user agreement. Some people do use the same name everywhere as they prefer to 'brand' themselves..... their business.
When most users sign up here they usually expect to be dealing with responsible adults, not mindless people who use intimidation tactics like some have done here so that they can try to bully or control others that they disagree with.
Hopefully the latest weak-willed poster will learn how to responsibly use the ignore button this time instead of clicking it off and on and then responding with silliness to each post.

Libra63, my point is that their choice of ID shouldn't have to come back and bite anyone in the butt. Threatening someone's business reputation shouldn't be a tactic used here by anyone to anyone else, no matter who they are. The rules are the same for all whether you like the poster or not.

Kiara: sorry, but you are wrong about this. I remember when I first signed up in 1999--I planned to use my eBay ID, but Vendio clearly said that the ID chosen for Vendio SHOULD NOT be the same one used on eBay. That's how I became "Bunnicula" here.

I don't remember seeing any kind of warning when I signed up for Vendio, but that was a LONG time ago.
replaymedia IS my posting name, so I do make every effort to watch what I post. There have been several cases where I've wanted to get a little snippy with another poster, but held back.
Actually, for the most part I think it's a good thing. It forces me to consider my opinions before I post them, and also forces me to be civil and thoughtful when addressing others. True, I may run into a stalker nutcase someday, but I do take reasonable precautions by watching my own behavior first.
Posting on this board is fun, even when it's infuriating. But it's not worth hurting my business over.
