Replay, If you are not a hypocrite, you should see a good amount of dissonance within your comment containing that signature line. You are saying one thing in the comment and then advocating an entirely different agenda in your signature line.

But thank you for your answer.

Replay, I'll try to explain one more time and then I have to cook dinner.

It's a contradiction to say that you consider being "civil and thoughtful when addressing others" while using as your signature line, "Gods own emissary to Vendio heathens."

"Heathens" is a derogatory term meaning one who is regarded as irreligious, uncivilized, or unenlightened. Maybe you didn't know that? Who are you referring to when you use this term? Your statement not only denigrates those people that you consider heathens but also by association it denigrates Vendio. Just as it would if you said, for example God's own emissary to Vendio barbarians.

It's just something to think about Replay. It's strange when you claim to be so civil and thoughtful to others while holding this opinion of some Vendio users and making that fact clear in your signature line.

It's even made the Google page, BTW. http://www.google.com/search?sourceid=navclient&ie=UTF-8&q=Brian+S%2E+Gods+own+emissary

TOO COOL!

I had no idea this stuff got posted on Google.

Maybe I'll switch to "Venio Barbarians" next week.

OK, you've made your point. Or maybe I prefer the free advertising. You'll have to guess!

That's too funny! I never knew that stuff made it to Google either. Someone, somewhere is getting plenty of chuckles!

Here's one for you to check out Cheryl, I entered your Vendio user id in a Google search and here is what came up.

http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&ie=ISO-8859-1&q=CBlev65252&btnG=Google+Search

You can try to do this with my user id but all you will get are internet sites to national parks.

Hey, I think I just discovered something. At the bottom of the Google page of the search that I just posted above it says; "In order to show you the most relevant results, we have omitted some entries very similar to the 4 already displayed. If you like, you can repeat the search with the omitted results included."

I've never seen this before, so I clicked on it and then I copied the resulting url and then changed Cheryl's user id within the url to someone elses and it pulled up about 27 pages of their Vendio posts also.

Hmmmmm this could be a very useful tool.

Ok, here's the link that resulted from clicking on the link at the bottom of the original search;

http://www.google.com/search?q=CBlev65252&hl=en&lr=&ie=UTF-8&filter=0

Now, you can click on this from here and it will pull up 26 Google pages of Cheryl's posts or you can change her user id within the body of the url to say, for instance, Helen's user id which is Helenjw.

Here, i'll make it easier for you. Here's the same url without it being clickable.

http://www.google.com/search?q=CBlev65252&hl=en&lr=&ie=UTF-8&filter=0

Cheryl's user id within the url is CBlev65252. Copy the unclickable url and paste it into your internet browser search area, then delete JUST cheryl's user id and then type in Helenjw in the exact place. Then click on your "go" button or "search" button, whatever you have on your computer. Whala, and you have just found 26 Google pages of Helen's Vendio poats.

Doing a regular search by entering Helen's user id on Google produces this;

http://www.google.com/search?q=helenjw&hl=en&lr=&ie=UTF-8&start=40&sa=N

Only 6 Google pages, but doing it my way produces 26 pages.

What is missing in the regular Google search of Helen's user id is this at the bottom; "In order to show you the most relevant results, we have omitted some entries very similar to the 4 already displayed. If you like, you can repeat the search with the omitted results included." Which showed up in the original Google search of Cheryl's id but not in the Google search that only gave 6 pages of Helen's id.

When you click on the link provided by Google it brings up additional pages not originally displayed in the original Google search of Cheryl's id.

Incedentally, Helen, I just used your id as an example.

Maggie, I just tried it with your Vendio id and it pulled up what looked like as you say a truck load of some other Maggiemuggins posts, if you say that isn't you in those other posts. I don't know if I should believe you or not. It's not an exact science or search function, I just thought I stumbled onto something. I'll have to play with it some more to see what else I can do with it.
