yes maggie......I understand that to you the copy and pastes from those of us on the right are not acceptable. But from those on the left they are great discussion material. Your double standard is quite clear....it's just that I really don't care whether it meets with your approval or not.

So why again bring up the fact I now live in Canada, linda_k? What has that got to do with the topic?? NOTHING!!! Except it's a diversion for you because you can't face the reality of the topic.
BTW, your opinions never surprise me either, linda_k. You have a very closed-mind, 'my way or the highway' view here where you make it clear you don't want me responding at all. Why don't you try discussing things for a change without bringing Canada into it?

Well it's better than all the ASSF - -...whoa wait a minute here...i'd better not use that word again in here, Classicrock000 has allready warned me twice about using that word again. Whew, that was close.

But wait... We just had to rush into this war.... we had no time to wait for inspections! we didn't have enough equipment at the time, and we still don't.
But..Saddam was an imminent threat with his vast arsenal of WMD's and we just couldn't wait could we.. equipment or no equipment... we had to do something to divert the attention away from the fact that OBL..got away.. phooey..

Kiara. it hasn't been long since you stated you lived in Washington State. Remember? You can't make up your mind which side of the border you belong on.

etexbill, you said you didn't give a rat's ass where I live when I last told you it's none of your business. Remember? But you continue to ask silly questions and I'm not the topic here.
BTW, I hope you have a happy holiday season and it's said with all sincerity.
I bet Rummy will have a more carefree one than most of the troops will. He probably doesn't have to worry about some insurgent killing him. I'd love to see 'war planners' like him and Bush and the rest of the gang do their duty right along with the troops with the same protection they have for all of the holiday season. Why should their lives have more value?

Thanks kiara and kraft.
Kraft, my question was meant to ask if a US citizen moves to Canada, can he become a Canadian citizen and keep his US citizenship?
kiara has kindly given me a link to the info which I'll read shortly.

Yes Maggie,
The Bush administration rushed into this war without planning. They had totally underestimated the number of troops we would need, the time it would take to take control of the country, and the insurgent forces.
If Bush and Rumsfeld think the Humvees are armored enough, the next time they fly into Bagdad, they can ride in one of the "less armored Humvees" from the airport to the safe zone and then we can all see how protected those vehicles really are.
Q. What's the difference between the Vietnam War and the Iraq War?
A. George W. Bush had a plan to get out of the Vietnam War.

PHOENIX -- U.S. Sen. John McCain said Monday that he has "no confidence" in Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld, citing Rumsfeld's handling of the war in Iraq and the failure to send more troops.
McCain, speaking to The Associated Press in an hourlong interview, said his comments were not a call for Rumsfeld's resignation, explaining that President Bush "can have the team that he wants around him."
"I have strenuously argued for larger troop numbers in Iraq, including the right kind of troops -- linguists, special forces, civil affairs, etc.," said McCain, R-Ariz. "There are very strong differences of opinion between myself and Secretary Rumsfeld on that issue."
When asked if Rumsfeld was a liability to the Bush administration, McCain responded: "The president can decide that, not me."
