I surely do admire those who get along with their exes. We were married 29 years, but when the divorce came, it came with a vengeance. It wouldn't do for us to come within 50 miles of each other.
But she's no longer in the picture. Hate and cigarettes took her long before her time.

Classic - yep - read the Merry Christmas thread over in EO. His current wife is "She Who Must Be Obeyed", his ex is "she who formerly must be obeyed" (capitalization no longer required).

If it's really "common" sense, why do so few people actually have it?

Classic, I hope you know I was kidding about the bj thing - just trying to get Crow going... maybe even make her laugh, if that's possible.

Nope. As they say at the funeral home.
"Doesn't she look nice?"
No she looks dead.

I'm sorry, that's not funny, but you would have to know the whole story.

kraft - That's some of the funniest stuff I've read on here in a while! I commend you on being able to keep loved ones, past and present, nearby.

Happy holidays everyone!

My wife and my ex were friends before I married either one of them, and my first marriage ended quite pleasantly, no lawyers and no bitterness. Well, I'll admit I hate it every time she drives my ( her ) '65 F100 to the ranch... My ex has not remarried, and is pretty much here for every family party, along with my girls, who she is primarily responsible for..My son calls her "Tia" which means aunt, even though he knows she is his sisters' mom and not really his aunt....funny how stuff works out sometimes.

well I must say-thats a RARITY !

I guess every once in awhile the two parties agree that this is not working out.Ususally one wants to end it and the other doesnt, thats when you have problems, especially if you have kids.

Did you actually crack a smile there Crow?? And where did I say the food and bj's were FREE? I want to see PROOF I said that.

P.S. Classic, please don't mention anything free that's taken place between you and I, OK?

Huh! Would have offed the ex a loooong time ago, but don't want to put her out of her 300 pound misery. Let's just say her life has had a lot of obstacles. Don't marry the ho that gives the best bj's. She's practiced.

Maggie, I don't have a clue when bj's first started - good question! Maybe Yellow knows... or maybe Clinton invented them.

Porkloin, maybe she was miserable because she married you, although I can't understand why because you seem so compassionate.
