But I do love that logansdad offers two people who can't possibly be President. One not born in this country...the other who already took an oath to uphold the laws of CA and didn't....I wouldn't expect/trust that his word would mean anything the next time since it didn't the first time.

I have brought up the insurance issue just recently so don't make it seem like this issue has been discussed for months on end. This was just one example I used to show what rites straight couples are granted when they get married. Legalities can be worked out in a will but why should they when the two people are in a committed relationship and so the exact same things as any other straight couple would.
You're not going to change my views on gay marriage.

What part are you not getting that the CA voters voted AGAINST gay marriage and after your other offered candidate okay illegal gay marriages the CA SC ruled he acted against the law. I don't run and hide any where especially not from straw-grabbing lefties. I've BEEN answering your questions all day and they just keep coming. You go on and on asking more and more questions. Get this logansdad....being married has MANY benefits. Gays can't get married....they do however have the same options that ALL the other domestic partners have. That is increasing in more and more companies. You're asking to be made a special 'group' and get benefits that other domestic partners can't get either. That family who live together can't get. Because Twelve, if a person believed something, they'd know why and wouldn't hesitate to explain it. People that are against gays/gay marriage know deep down that their excuse to hate, not like, (whatever word you want to use) is lame and has no foundation. When someone can come up with a good reason to discriminate, I'd love to hear it. Just because a person 'feels like it' makes no sense when other people's lives are involved.

Linda and her legailities of getting benefits.
I supopse Linda carrys her will around with her all that time. That is exactly what "domestic partners" would need to do to prove the person they love is their domestic partner.
Linda tell me when you were denied visitation rights to see your husband while he was on his death bed. NEVER, Because he was your husband and all you had to do is tell the hospital he was your husband. Gays who have been living together for years and years have been denied this simply because they are not "married" in the legal sense.
I hope the next time you are faced with this situation I hope a hospital tells you to run home and get your will to prove to have a right to see the person who is on their death bed before he dies.
