frogleg: How is it different than the AT&T monopoly? When the one of the founder's of ebay is a proven liar then how can we trust them to not do as ED stated and raise prices (again) on us. They will and ED and I are not the only one's who have seen this coming, thousands have, very few people act upon such threats as I do, I will actually stand up against stuff and send mail to congressmen and news companies. I need more help though...

Darn! I guess this is your lucky day! Send me the information. I have tried to solve my problem like any other user. Now I am going to use my inside contacts. I live, and have an Allstate Insrance Agency in San Jose, so send me the detailed information, and I will try to help you when I talk to a couple of my clients that work at ebay. No promises. But will try to get the matter resolved. I really hate this side of me but my clients love it!

frogleg: Obviously you know nothing about monopolies or the history of companies proven to be monopolies since you didn't know that once AT&T was a monopoly, read the above posts again, I'm not wasting my time continually re posting what I say if you won't take the time to read it...

AT&T was a monopoly but it was the only choice we had at the time....THAT is what made it a monopoly. Try to get power from some other co. or water.....THEY are monopolys.

I know Ebay has problems. And there are choices out there but until someone proves to be more proffatable than Ebay it will be "the Biggie"...
Ebay, like all businesses are money driven and if proffits go down.....The stock holders will demand the proper changes.

frogleg: You are still completely missing the point. In the definition I gave about it states that the company must be controlling a service to a degree where they can fix the prices. This is what ebay does, whether or not you are forced BY ebay to use their service isn't an issue or used as an excuse in the definition. Bottom line is people can't go anywhere else and have the same success so they are forced to stay on ebay if they want to stay in business thus making them a monopoly since people CANNOT leave without losing a vast majority of their sales. I guess the crucial point is the fact that ebay can at any time raise their prices and no one will doing anything because they can't do to reasons stated above therefore according to the dictionary definition of a monopoly ebay fits perfectly. One day ebay will be nailed for being a monopoly.

One of the three founder's of eBay is a proven liar but that was just a side note. I kick them and go, if you would like the documentation for that it was already stated on an earlier page....

Just depends. Are you suspended, waiting for conformation of a resolve.

Termanated.

Right now I am the above, suspended waiting for conformation of a resolve. My resolve is 30 days of time.

You have to be a transaction related resolve. A little harder, but not impossible. As ebay has a transaction record from day 1 on your sales activity.

Get the transaction resolved, and you are reinstated. Same ID and alll feedbacks

If you were terminated, not likly if you are giving us the truth, as it takes more than on complaint to be termanated. Your former ID and feedback are both dead, and you need to correct all issues, then the ability to create an new ebay ID is decided by uper level folks.

Ed: I was originally told I would be suspended for 30 days. After 30 days they refused to reinstate my account. All my feedback, etc is still there. They tell me its a permanent suspension but it doesn't make sense to me.

THE WHOLE PREMISE OF THIS THREAD IS S-P-A-M.

For timeforebaytodie's website. He's been all over the map in this thread on whether he wants back on eBay or wants "ebaytodie," which would make his participation there even more problematical than it is now. He's gone on at length with some untenable "explanation" of why eBay knocked him off, and from the scores of stories I've heard here at AW about why people have been NARU'd, it doesn't wash. The only thing that makes sense is eBay protecting whoever turned him in for fraud by not revealing their identities to him, and for that, eBay should be commended. If the guy's going to make his username a death threat, imagine what he'd say in private email to someone who cost him his magazine recycling business. This all happened EIGHT MONTHS AGO, and he's coming on now with this bilge? COME OFF IT. This isn't about a gripe with eBay.

A few posts ago, he finally blew with the real reason he's here and won't shut up, no matter what we say:
my site is attracting record amounts of people every week, I'm now starting to make a mailing list to people who contact me...

He's building his business, needs site fodder, and has marked AW as nice hunting territory. I wish AW would see his nonsense for what it is and lock this thread. I also think it's beyond bad taste to allow usernames that call for the death of anything, except reserve fees. JMO.

Pareau: Those are all your opinions and they are not the opinions of AW, myself, or anyone else listing on this board. Your arguement is build on many faulty assumptions. First off you don't know anything about my story except for what you have heard so you have to right to speculate as to why ebay did what they did. I have not called for ebay to be destroyed as I mentioned in an earlier post. I merely am calling for an end to the ebay monopoly. Another thing, your logic is extremely alarming. By suggesting that ebay has the right to accuse me of fraud and kick me off without providing supporting evidence for their accusation is apalling. Thats like you accusing a company like Gateway of fraud for not sending you a part and refusing to report to Gateway what they were supposed to have sent you or your name or anything pertinent to the transaction. What should I have done to resolve this? Let me ask you, how would you suggest I figure out who I supposedly cheated? I will await your reply!

Pareau: Also, do you understand what SPAM is? How is this "SPAM"? lol, how are you calling me sending emails to people who have come to me at my website spam? No I'm sorry, those are people who are mad at ebay and voluntarily sign themselves up to hear updates from me. I have the right to do this and will continue and it is spam free so go away...

I am saying the samething in a proactive way. If Todie is honest and a real screw up happend. I can help. Ebay will tell some one what the item was. Have Todie ship it to me or ebay and have forwarded to the buyer at his cost. In a nice way Its put up, or shut up. without being mean or nasty. Ed

About time you got religion, krs.

Look at this line:
People pay me to consult on their websites, online auctions, listings and businesses.

Where do you think I found it? On the thread originator's own site, in the copyright information. On another page, the vendetta is given a somewhat different timeframe:

I have been waiting for 3 years for someone, ANYONE, to come along and topple these people. Instead of anyone coming along and giving eBay some real competition, eBay went public, their stock went thru the roof, thru the clouds, past the moom, and on it's way to Mars. With this bottle rocket of an intial public offering came even more attention and even more money for eBay. I'm sure Pierre, Jeff and the rest are rolling around naked in $100 bills toasting themselves.

(Can you imagine what you could get on eBay for pictures of that scene? I just wonder how they keep their glasses upright while cavorting. I've never been able to manage it, but maybe the money helps.)

It's spam and hooey, and a big waste of our time, todiefor. Pass the spitcup.
