Talking about action...I just watched Kill Bill #2 for the second time...I love those movies! I always feel like a warrior after watching them...flying across the den, with the fireplace poker in my hand, ready to decapitate any lamp that gets in my way...
ooohhhh feel the power!!!

[is that your wife I see peering over your left shoulder, classic? ]
-------------------
Now who is pushing their faith down everyones throat.
Well...some might now thinks it's the democratic minority whip who just finished stating that while he believes in the separation of church and state...be believes the dems have been giving the impression that the values/morals they have learned from their religion must be spoken about more to the public. Make the public more aware that they TOO have these values/morals.
You're going to see much more of this coming from the left.
-----------------
LOL classic on their mail system.

KD - I'm wasn't talking about what I heard on Fox. I had done a lot of research when the threat was in on-going discussion. And I found that on Canadian sites....NOT Fox news. You're thinking of a different time when I mentioned how the Canadian gov. wasn't willing to let them be broadcast...but WAS willing to [had approved] letting AlJezzera's station to be broadcast in Canada. I thought that extremely odd and funny at the same time. -------------

How about if we were to include Maggie and hey maybe we could try that 2 leg pull thing I talked about in the other thread. You know like a wishbone, you pull one leg and i'll pull the other.
As far as Kraft goes, i'd make sandwiches with her anytime. Hey Kraft you spread and i'll jam.

Well said Crowfarm!
I see the cheerleaders are here tonight. KD in her short little skirt with her pompoms. Watch it classic...
Great words coming from a Atheist who makes sure we all know it, and you don't know how I live my life. Man you and logansdad make a great pair.
Hey crowfarm are you talking about John Kerry, the ex presidential candidate who wore his religion on his sleeve. Went to church as often as he could and take communion.....One of those divorced catholics who got an annulment?

and I suppose this is a reference to:... moi?
No dblfugger9, that was not a reference to you as you weren't even in my thoughts, it isn't about you at all. It was in reference to Linda’s comment that she didn’t care for me and I said I'm not about to change and become someone I'm not just to please her or anyone else here.
BTW, thanks to those that said nice things..... I don’t know how to say it but I'm not good at receiving compliments or support from others and I don't like to be put in a situation here where others come in like they're defending me.... I hope you know what I mean. I've been thinking over Trai's comments about the sideshow and insanity here and how many posters like Gravid and Reamond that have left and it's sad they're no longer here.

kiara - ok, I see, so that's what was on your mind? >>>>>>Since when is your concern that somebody doesnt care for you?? You have never struck me as that type of person so I dont know why you would even say that to Linda or expect her to expect you to change your ID. odd. But ok. mea culpa.
>>>>>>>....must be this thread.... "Pride, Proud, How proud are you?"
But that being said, who then is the gossip-monger here you mention?
I left for a couple of weeks shortly after the election and then popped back in when the gossipmonger started in about me. I then left for another month and popped back in when I saw she was still jawing away about me....
Remember now, no insinuating, Helen doesnt like innuendo and names should be named
---------------------------------------------
kraft, The picture of all those flag draped coffins coming back... you wrote this and I have to ask: why is it the volume of coffins that stirs your emotions? - Do you think it's like that for the families of individual soldiers?
With 9-11, to me, the best thing they did (though it took all day), was they read every single solitary name of the bodies that were found there. They didnt just say, ok, here's a lump of dead bodies to look at..how do you feel?

Kiara,
I don't understand your need to reject a sincerely felt compliment. And, I am sorry if you interpreted my comments as a defense of you personally. I was really focused on the highly inappropriate and unfounded suggestion made by linda. When a member of a group is out of line, I believe in group representation.
I know that you are very capable of defending youself.

Thats what you call it when refering to your group but when our group does the same you call it buttkissing. So which is it really, is it group representation or is it buttkissing?

LOL - Good for another morning laugh at least.

yellowstone. I agree...but it's nothing new to me. I've been watching it for years.
----
She has some idea in her own mind that she's 'above' some posters here....but it has always boiled down to whether you agree with her political views or you don't. If you do....she back you no matter what you say or do. If you don't...watch out...
And she even loves to copy and praise kiara at telling people to 'cram it up their aS$es'. It's just so funny to them. But they're always the FIRST to call others on their actions - like they're so prim and proper.

Thanks Helen, I know I didn't word it well. It's just that I grew up shy so it's not that I'm rejecting a sincere compliment or that I don't appreciate it...... not at all. One one hand it would be rude not to say thanks and on the other hand if I do, it may be interpreted as drawing attention to myself by sucking up because of the 'your side' 'our side' mentality here so it makes me uncomfortable.
The comment dblfugger9 doesn't grasp has nothing at all to do with changing an ID here and I have no intention of doing so. And I intend to stay the same person inside that I've always been...... meaning that I can't be phony and say things I don't mean or change my beliefs just to remain on anyone's good side so they don't sink to to even lower levels than they have already.

LOL! Libra, really gotta love ya!!! Even if it appears to some you dont make sense, you at least say what you mean,...no matter what!! Its kinda like driving a straight road verses an obstacle course...."it means this; but no it doesnt mean this"; in & out, round and round, skimming and scurving, until your dizzy enough to even give a sh** with the impression of this Clintonesque version of exactly what "is" "is".(btw, isnt logansdad gay??)
I think its great your proud to be an American! There's not a whole lot of people that can say that and mean it, whatever your reasons are.

Db, what the heck does my sexuality have to do with the topic on hand? Do you go around asking everyone else what their sexuality is?
You remind me of twinkle toes being so concerned about people's sexuality. It make me wonder....
Absolute faith has been shown, consistently, to breed intolerance. And intolerance, history teaches us, again and again, begets violence.

I thought that comical, and I was asking her in a round about way what the pun was to her, being as you are gay.
