I'm quite aware that if this President hadn't gotten some votes from the democratic side....and some moderate votes....he wouldn't have been re-elected. I'm also aware, which you don't appear to be, of just how many democrats in our Congress still support this war. Oh...they'll complain about how it's being handled....that's just rank politics....but people like hillary clinton aren't calling for our withdrawal. Tonight on Fox News - O'Reilly's program....he did a little piece on this mother, Cindy Sheehan. Appears not only is she making statements that are just the opposite of what she was quoted as saying in the Vacaville, CA newspaper [positive things about her meeting with President Bush, etc] but now she has formed alliances with good old anti-American, michael moore and some total nut case who's name is close to Sam Husseine.
Imo, she's totally losing any perspective of reality joining with these two. And it's a shame.

I don't think anyone can understand the loss of a child...no matter their age...until they themselves have experienced it. This poor woman is still in a lot of pain....still grieving.
Now, she's going to do what she feels she needs to do....but I couldn't agree more, maggie, the media is not only playing all this up for their own agenda, but imo they are USING her grief and exploiting her. sad, sad day.

Oh, "caroline", it wasn't MY idea to have the woman arrested to prevent any embarassment to poor little Georgie and his guests...it was a Texas Republican's and what a mystery it is where he got his orders.
This woman has gone through something much worse than being arrested even if it's on phony charges. From what I heard from her through her own mouth, I think she could handle it.
And it would make the bushies look to be the fools they are.

Yep, the Bush Administration claims Cindy is a threat to National Security. LOL!!! The neofascistcons should be ashamed of such statements.
Cindy would be a martyr if she was arrested. The Secret Service has gone as far as threatening the protestors claiming they might get hit by their big black SUV's.
This is typical of the neocon agenda. Hide from the public, lie to smear others, and claim to be the victim. Nothing but a bunch of chickenhawks. They are not willing to put their lives on the line when it matters, but they expect everyone else to do so.

They have the right to do this and should be grateful for that but their purpose is to make fun of a woman who made a terrible sacrifice for her country....what animals!

Clinton was a whimp. This President has a backbone...knows what needs to be done...and does it.

logan-be nice... remember, Bush was annunciating "My Pet Goat" when we were attacked. He had enough balls to wait until the children were done correcting his pronunciation of "goat" before he bothered to get up from his lazy butt. Still makes me wonder what he was thinking at that time. I think if Cindy gets a follow up, that should be the one.
