LOL....I just love reading how the liberals want to tie the hands of those given the responsibility to find the terrorists in our country.
Another issue about the PA is that it was taken mostly from laws ALREADY on our books. Much was just combined into one act.
Next...under the clinton administration the FBI and our CIA could NOT share information and that was how the FBI was 'handcuffed' by not being able to 'track' the 9-11 terrorists. They had been declared here in the US legally. So the FBI couldn't track them.
Also....when you read the statements of those that are PRO our PA, you will hear them say that on occassion TIME is of the essense. No time to ALWAYS get a judge to sign the needed documents. But even more importantly is the FACT that each and everyone of these are overseen. The intelligence agencies are not allowed to just run willy-nilly - they are accountable....just not BEFORE they investigate whomever they're investigating.
And lastly I'll say....that part of the PA UNTIES the hands of the FBI so they CAN communitate and share information between agencies....which always should have been allowed imo. But now that countries all over the world are experiencing terrorist attacks....it's even MORE vital that they can, in order to keep the terrorists from doing the same here.

And why the American Voters chose to RE-elect President Bush to four more years. YES!!!

I'm sorry Linda, was that an answer to why you feel that the FBI should not have to justify a wire tap just as they have been doing for decades?

No, I'm saying -- I'm merely -- I'm saying what I'm saying. I don't know why I'm always having people say, are you trying to say -- you know what you can do if you want to know what I'm saying is listen to what I'm saying. What I'm saying is what I said ...

I wonder if this was caught because of his medical records or if he caught by snooping on his library records.
Absolute faith has been shown, consistently, to breed intolerance. And intolerance, history teaches us, again and again, begets violence.

Bush was right. The truth did come out and the facts are he misled Congress and the American people about the reasons we should go to war in Iraq.
