Well..you've had an awful lot to deal with lately. I think everyone understands it's not been easy for you or any of those that have been affected by the storm and it's aftermath. I'd bet your mind doesn't stop racing once you lay down - everything that's gone on....needs to be done...etc....probably starts running though your brain.
But I'm glad you've got your grandbabies to keep you occupied. They're always fun. And while under terrible circumstances, I'll bet you enjoy having this time to spend with your daughter too. I know I do when I get to stay with my sons.
Did you ever find that generator you were looking for? I know nothing about them...but my middle sister, who lives in Oregon, has two huge ones as they live in the mountains and always have ice storms during their winters. One for their well...and one for the household. Sometimes they go without electricity for two to three weeks at a time. Until the electric company can get up there to repair their lines.

Saudi oil – extracted the old-fashioned way, through oil wells – costs just a few dollars a barrel to produce. In Alberta, the stuff from the oil sands can cost $20 a barrel or more to mine. And the process uses a lot more energy than pumping conventional oil.
