Violence Across Iraq Leaves at Least 159 Dead
Shiite Prime Minister Promises Cabinet Overhaul
By STEVEN R. HURST, AP
BAGHDAD, Iraq (Nov. 12) - The Shiite prime minister promised Sunday to reshuffle his Cabinet after calling lawmakers disloyal and blaming Sunni Muslims for raging sectarian violence that claimed at least 159 more lives, including 35 men blown apart while waiting to join Iraq's police force.

Most recent news is that we're waiting for a report that will make recommendations on how to deal with the increased violence.
Many have felt this uprising was being driven to effect our elections. Well...the terrorists plans sure worked.
Now many are talking about sending IN MORE troops....not withdrawing them.
We'll see in January what those conservative/moderate DEMS that were just elected will say to that.
While the democratic party complains about everything THIS President does to protect our Nation:
What would a Democrat president have done at that point? Apparently, the answer is: Sit back and wait for the next terrorist attack.

Hey LIAR_K,
U.S. elections were over on 11/07/06.
Notice the date on my report!!! At this point the Iraq civil war has nothing to do with our elections.
You say more troops just like back during Viet Nam????

peepa....you can do your own search on the Baker Committee.
It hasn't been made public YET...as all our guys are putting their heads together while discussing some of the recommendations that committee will/have made.
So...you just sit tight....believing that one option ISN'T putting more troops in Iraq...and once the report has been released to the public...you will once again have to face your OWN ignorance on this issue.
Sen. John McCain discussed this on 'Meet The Press' yesterday.
edited to add: That whatever recommendations are voted on....just remember Sen. Joe Lieberman will be the swing vote on what that final decision is...as an INDEPENDENT. 51/49?? 50/50 split???
