you said : No matter, as you requested, I won't mention it again.

thank you, that is all i was asking. it is the speculation that bothered me. since the speculation was incorrect, no, of course you did not harm my anonymity. i was just suggesting the effort to attempt to discover an anonymous posters given name by any other anonymous poster, was troubling me in theory.

since you have politely agreed to drop it for which i thank you, i will also not mention it again. End of subject.

also, i was not aware of any auctionwatch rule that requires that i must agree with pareau's posts or any other poster's statements? is disagreement to be questioned also, i though t this was the forum for discussions and jokes.

for your information iam not anti-anyone but i don't have to agree with everything anyone says in this forum, thought it was a free country with free speech. sorry my opinions seem to bother you, you could put me on ignore

changed 'me' to 'you' in the last night ok i'm having trouble typing LOL

Is it the time of year? These threads remind me so much of the fall of 1999. All I can add to this is that I really hate it. I hope we can get back to what some people have called the boring AW soon.

This is quite different than the fall of 1999. Yes, there was malice back then and people "banded together" to beat up lone individuals. However, it was done openly on the EO. This is different and a heck of a lot scarier. It needs to be resolved.

"Done openly in the EO"?

You've GOT to be kidding.

Heh!. LOADS, Irene. Threads in other places, (one, as I recall, begun by a rider of high horses here now),continuous email, conjecture, playing of people off of people, why even an infamous moderator was up to his, errrr, elbows.

I want to make clear that none but the beginning was Julesy's doing. I think the whole thing was taken out of her control by one particularly notorious crusader, not Ross.

Anyway, I don't want a rehash, but your statement was just too ridiculous for me to leave without comment.

LindaK,

But then you can't see who is reading, has read or who is going to read it, or can you?

To the best of my knowledge I don't have to get your permission of where and when to post.

Nope GrannyFox - You sure don't need my permission for anything.

Just trying to figure out if you typed that post in the wrong thread, since I hadn't seen hellcat posting here yet. That's all.

No, I posted it here because there is a poorly conceled jab at her in this thread. It received pats on the back. I choose to offer Beth a decent word as she reads this. So I did.

Grannyfox - Ohhhh that's it. I'm just trying to keep away from having to post in Meya's clueless thread....didn't want to think enchanted might be hellcat, or that you had posted in the wrong thread.

Thanks for explaining.....

Any time LindaK...I have already posted to the thread and I am totally clueless about most of what is occurring here any more. I think I am glad to be.

Perhaps I should e-mail KRS and ask him since he seems to be in the e-mail loop. However, considering the frequency of our periodic email exchanges (to quote his post in the Poetry thread), which consisted of 2 sets of correspondence, 5 months apart, I can't hope to get a response until next March.

Well, Irene if you're clueless, then for sure I'll have to post in Meya's thread now as there is no hope for any of us.

When I read Grannys post, the only name in the thread I didn't recognize was enchanted's....no big thing. I have seen the name elsewhere. But then when granny professed her friendship to Beth, I was confused (so easily done) as to whom she was referring to since I had not seen a post by hellcat. First thought I had was that granny was posting to enchanted AS Beth, so I just wanted to clarify.

Sorry to add more confusion to an already sad situation.

Can't figure it either. Is "Wankel engine" a badness now? I know it can't be the reference to "archives" or "windbag" either, since they've been attributed to me, me, me. Plus, this is my thread, it must be about me.

Don't misconstrue my umbilical comments. If I'm forced to gaze at something transparent, I frankly prefer a crystal ball. It says so much more.

I'm just guessing, but Grannyfox may be referring to the "ShriekingHarpy" reference in the first post. ShriekingHarpy is the name of a poster at another board, but it originates from an insult originally hurled at Hellcat/Beth by GodzillaTemple/Barry in a fit of pique. It was so unusual to see Barry post something like that, it became kind of notorious and was bandied about the boards for some time afterward.

Pareau - All about you you you? With that post you're starting to sound like someone else.

Okay, to respect your wishes, I shall keep this about you...you...you. I want to publicly state that I am so very sorry for all that you have recently had to deal with.

I know a lot of people aren't reading other boards, so have no idea what you've been put through in the last month or so. If I had the power (wishful dreaming on my part), I'd make this all go away. It's very hard to see all that's being said about you and the other posters here at AW on other boards.

I hope this can be settled soon and all those accusations put to rest.
