How many of you believe in astrology?
Does your personna conform to your star sign?
Is it humbug or is there anything in it?
Tell us what your zodiac sign is.
To set the ball rolling I'm a Libra. I don't really believe it but often wonder. I tend to look at astrology with mild amusement but no conviction.

Krs,Beth,myself are sags.There are some others,But cant remember who they are.We are all with drawn and quite.No sense of humor.
Short bodys,Big heads and feet.Use a lot of talcum powder,And squint at the computor screen.Thought I had better say something quick before the leos hit here,Leos like to say they are leos.

PISCES here, and to the core, so much so it's a bit disturbing. Married to a Gemini, no less, who seems to be MORE Gemini than I am Pisces....makes for an interesting union. Do I believe in Astrology? Yup. I don't plot the course of my life by the stars, but I read my horoscope in the back of TV Guide every week!!!

Check this place out...its so cool! Type in your name and a friends name (you can choose lover, or friend) and it will tell you how you interact with each other, and your obstacles. I did it once with someone, and it was right on the mark. But you will need to know the birthdate of said friend (or lover).

Personally, I divine the future using the entrails of small birds. It's much more accurate.
Of course, there's always the "close your eyes, open the Bible and point; there's your fortune" technique, but that's so....superstitious.

Well, maui, I "indulged" you. About 50% of the statements were correct.
But I went one better. I did three hypothetical astrological profiles - me, and 2 controls, each 3 months apart from me. Let's call them A, B and C.
All three:
Have a quick mind that doesn't get bogged down in emotional issues, and have stamina far beyond that of other people.
Have an "enchanting" or "hypnotic" effect on other people.
Are great problem solvers and have an ability to "cut to the chase."
Would make good scientists or researchers.
Are definitely artistic.
Two out of three:
Have "a knack for coming up with what the crowd wants."
Had a "somewhat unusual upbringing".
Know and can communicate to others a sense of the "world more unified" outside them.
And - almost forgot this one - all three "are nothing else if not an original."

Astrology. Do I believe in it?. To tell the truth I have never thought about it.
Is it hogwash? I would not think so. Like everything else its up to the person involved. I respect that. I also respect those that call it hogwash.
One thing I do believe in. The will of prayer.
How ever, I still use Stars, Moon & Sun to spark a young Lady ( my wife of 35 + years ).
She is Gemini & of Course Ole Fred, Taurus.

I was raised with astrology, and have had my chart since I was 8 yrs old. It is a primary language that my whole family speaks. "She has Pluto square her Sun in the 8th" says plenty, and we do not believe or not believe, we know.
Anyone who studies astrology in depth will quickly learn that it is utterly valid, but you must move away from the Sun sign / pop culture's version of astrology. People are clearly not that simple.
Of course a Virgo does not act like a Virgo when he has 6 other planets placed in Aquarius and square Uranus. This is a no brainer to an astrologer but people who know nothing at all about the subject point to a person like this and pronounce astrology unreliable. I am sorry, but this is blathering ignorance.
Yeah, that math thing doesn't work either. Damn fools that think there is actually an order in the universe.
