Okay first thing, am I to suppose from your id that you are studying to be an attorney? So many Libra's are atty's. The justice thing and all, but they are especially suited because they can always see both sides of any conflict. This causes all kinds of indecisive hell in their personal lives, but is an enormous asset in the law field because if you can't see how your opponent is going to make their case you are pretty much worthless as a lawyer. Of course they are born to negotiate. Libras are sometimes called People Pleasers but this is really not giving them true credit. PP implies that they are doormats and this is very much not the case. Libra is a Cardinal sign, which is code for "the boss" and they just happen to make things go their way with sugar and honey as opposed to a gun or a fist. Point is, Libra is formidable and if they are pleasing people, better believe they have an agenda and they will soon have you doing their bidding. You will wake up to find you have been "handled" which you may or may not like depending on your own traits.

>>>>>>>>>>>>.. I am more forthright than the average
Libras I have met (sometimes that's good and sometimes that's bad). >>>>>>.

Yes, I think so too, but do you see how you reported both sides of the issue here - good or bad, you can't decide, LOL how Libra is that? Always weighing both sides..

>>>>>>> The issue I have been dealing with all summer (in conjunction with my friend from the other thread) is a
10 year old issue that caused me a lot of pain 10 years ago and I never thought it would rear its head
again. >>>>>>

Now this is Scorpio talking. Nothing is ever dead for a Scorpio and I mean nothing. You can put something in it's grave bury it yourself, lock and key everything and you can still expect that it will rise and ride again.

>>>>>>Weird stuff has been happening all summer long. I have come into contact with people I never
thought I'd meet up with and so many "accidents" and weird coincidences have occurred, it's bizarre.>>>>>>

Uranus is in AQUARIUS squaring all your Scorpio. Uranus, planet of weird, unexpected, innovative and liberating. It will be in Aquarius until 2003 so you can expect more of the same. However jerkily, it is taking you to your future.

On the Aquarius pal - same thing..

I am going to elaborate here because this is a long transit for you and this info will be most helpful, but I am going to post this now and come back to it because Mercury Rx keeps crashing my writing and I am sick of writing things twice.
I will be back to write about Urnaus in relation to Scorpio as soon as I can.

Okay - here goes...

Regarding Aquarius people in general, you will always attract them into your life. With your Libra Sun (air) an Gemini rising (air) Aquarius people (the 3rd air sign) are an easy match. You plus them make three legs of the same chair.

Now this is all good and well but Aquarius people are exceedingly independent and hugely detached, PARTICULARLY from a Scorpio perspective and this is where the trouble starts.
Aquarius is the consummate friend of everybody. They have the ability to make everyone feel comfortable, they are almost always open minded and in general a heck of a lot of fun to be around.
However....
You best not get toooooooo close, and 3 ft is close if you ask an Aquarius.

Example - I used to have a double Aquarius friend. She was sleeping with a Taurus, mostly for entertainment. He was nuts for her because he had VENUS (what looks good to you) in Aquarius. He thought she was a diva, even though she like to wear men's pants and shave only one leg. (actually she was Aqua Sun and Rising and had a Libra Moon so she could not decide about the leg thing)

Okay, so she would complain to me about how he wanted to lay near her in bed post sex. This would freak her out to no end, his leg getting flung over her holding her down. She air - he EARTHY - result - forget about it...

(Contrast this with Taurus singer Taj Mahal who sings "throw your big leg over me mama, I might not feel this good again..."

I felt sorry for this guy, I could just picture him trying to ground the un-groundable and of course her detachment was what made his Venus crazy so he was pretty much scr**ed.

Then I thought about her.
This gal was nearly pure air and she was not meant to touch the ground. She liked him but it must of been like death to her, she would actually complain that she could not BREATHE and this is critical to a air sign.

Okay - so this is AIR with EARTH - so now Air with water (Scorpio)

Aquarius is an intellectual. Generally brilliant actually but they do not do emotion. Call up your Aquarius friend to go do something cutting edge and you're on. Call 'em up to cry on their shoulder, have a therapy session, or blather on about your broken heart, and they cannot get away from you fast enough. Nothing personal, they just don't go there.

This does not work for Scorpio, and this is problem one with your old pal, but this is only part of the story. I will be back with the bigger picture asap.

uh, yeah so far you're pretty much on target, tho this particular Aquarius is the type who for whatever reason (I think possible planets in scorpio tho can't remember for sure) puts up with more of the crying and therapy garbage than I would expect (and cries more themself too than I would expect). BTW that stuff about the diva who wore men's pants and shaved only one leg is hilariously familiar!

and yeah I have Gemini rising (communications, journalism, writing, talking etc...what you would expect of an atty type who writes and argues well).

Oh but net, it's even better than that.
All that Scorpio is in the 6th house / Virgo / more Mercury but not the superficial Gemini type.
When you have Virgo and Scorpio together there is unfathomably deep knowledge.

I also like Virgo together with Scorpio because the Virgo acts as a check on Scorpios nastier traits.

I went to the site you told us about, and I am so upset that I'm no longer who I thought I was...that I ordered some $50.00 chart!
Now that I'm Capricorn ascendent, can you tell me a little about myself?
I noticed most (if not all)of the other planets are what my fibbing chart said they were...so I guess I'm MOSTLY who I thought I was...anyhoo, briefly on Taurus Cap rising, if you can!
This new concept has been buggin' me all day...

Even - it means you are super super earthy. Capricorn rising has a bad rep, but yours is repaired because ruler Saturn in also in Capricorn where it belongs. You can thank your Cap rising for your supremely excellent bone structure and your GREAT LEGS. If you were Sag rising you would probably be very very heavy. Double Taurus appetite with Sag tendency to overindulge is recipe for obesity, so don't mourn too much. That Cap rising gives you supreme presence. When enter a room, you are IN IT babe. No slinky water sign, you are REAL.

Pluto is very nicely placed in the 8th house.. I mean to get back to your chart, intend to tie to Net's because you share many qualities when I can get a chance. Bottom line is you have this Venus (Taurus) who wants to call Scorpio evil, when you your very own self have access to the BEST of Scorpio via Jupiter being placed there, and Scorpio ruler Pluto placed in it's natural house (the 8th).

This all goes back to the Pluto Venus square - which is why we are all talking about this right now..

And Net.
Your Saturn that is being transited is in the 10th house (public) so how public is this???

Even - it is good to be Capricorn especially post 35 yrs old. Cap's look really good as they age - the other lucky sign in Gemini. If you have enough of that you spend your whole life looking like a boy / girl as opposed to a man / woman. Very youthful. Gemini this is. Cap is just extremely well preserved and generally the 2nd half of their life is much much better than the first and so they if they are smart they figure out how to be giddy at forty since they missed their chance at 14 or 8 whatever.

junque - I don't know what you are referring to.
Clue none!

Okay Net - here is the bigger picture...

Uranus is T (from now on that means transiting) all your Scorpio. You are being liberated and given the option to reinvent yourself, and one of the ways the universe does this is by sending you Aquarians who act as zodiac mailmen of the future. Please understand that mailmen bring the mail and that is all. They do not wait around to see if you open it. This is not their job and in fact they could care less. Their job is to deliver the information and be on their way. They have other mail with other names on it, and plodding and patience is best left to Taurus, or if you want to suckle, please find a Cancer.

Back to that Aquarius pal with the hairy leg.

Note I said "had" a friend.

I met her during an enormous Uranus transit. I blinked and she was there and 3 years later I blinked again and she was gone, but my life was changed permanently.
It was fun.. no it was FUN.
But.
I look from my vantage point today, and I really could not imagine myself doing the things we did then - today. See, for her, this is her true self, but for me it was a transitory period. I needed someone who offered complete acceptance as I experimented with various ways of presenting myself. I needed BIG freedom to find what was really authentic about me. Of course she was having a transit of her own and in turn, I did my bit for her. Although she never changed her job in this period, she went from penniless to owning her own home via my guidance. She was 27, this was a feat. We both won, and we both won big, but as the transit passed the road forked. I went hot on the trail ISO sperm to make my children, she was furnishing her house from various dumpsters. I miss her some, but I understand we were mailmen for each other and accept it.

Okay - so my point is that you must let go. The Pluto square Venus death of relationship is valid here, and that is supposed to hurt, but in the bigger picture, you are going to your future and you are not there yet. More people are going to pop up to guide you the rest of the way. I promise they will be interesting. I always compare Uranus transits to a bullet train. These trains are FAST and once on you are not getting off until your stop. Not only can you not hold on to what is being left behind, IT cannot hold on to YOU.

Presently, Uranus is approaching to square your MOON. This is a major transit. I am not going to go into details regarding qualities of a Scorpio Moon because I know you know, but imagine this...
Imagine for the briefest time being liberated from the swirling depths.. How about a feeling that can change like flipping off a light switch as opposed to the norm for you? C'mon now - what if for just this year, you did not need to brood. What might be the result of that? If you had 1 brood free year, would you ever brood the same way again?
I don't think so.
Uranus is working to liberate your emotional nature (moon). It is FAST. A year from now will be like 7 years of therapy done and gone - no kidding. This is akin to laser surgery as opposed to the no painkiller type you are so familiar with. (Gemini and Libra parts of you are damned glad to hear this).

Don't get hung up, you are on the move, and you ain't seen nothing yet.
Transit (to the Moon and your Mars is 2 degrees beyond that) is not even exact until May and won't be completed until end of 2002. So much more change is coming, and you will love your new land - YOU WILL LOVE your new land. I promise and guarantee this, so let the people who let you go, go. You will look back in two years and be eternally grateful for the way things transpired, your future is massively bright, and that's no s***!

Thanks very much for taking the time to do the insighful analysis. My only confusion comes from the fact that there has been more than one important relationship "dying" in this picture and they're all intertwined. I know that one "death" is definitely final, not so sure about the others (including Aquarius friend, although I'm not trying to hold on). Anyway I know I am going through some changes and not done yet because I still have some other unresolved loose ends to tie up. So, I guess I will just wait and see how it goes. Thanks again!

Good Morning Mizz Modern!
You know, my most recent (broke up 2 months ago and have known him for 17 years) was born on Valentines day...according to your description, we weren't such a perfect match anyway.
Was also wondering my Mom is Leo (July 26) and Pop is Aquarius (Feb 1) and they havn't divorced nor have they lived in the same house in 20 or so years. So for a little Taur toddler (me) there was never going to be any warm and fuzzy in my house, right? I am youngest of 5 kids in 5 years none of us has a sign in common. I remember, as soon as I knew how to walk I was off trying to find someone to "make eye contact" with, score some candy, that kind of thing, seriously, at the age of 1 or so, I just had to get a'goin'!

you are quite welcome Net.
Regarding the death of many relationships, consider that pluto clears the decks and not especially selectively.
Generally a forest fire leaves a barren landscape in it's wake but what grows in it's place is especially lush.
This is the Scorpio Phoenix rising from ashes and all that, but ashes are ashes, you know? They are not ashes with one bright flower, or a rainbow - they are utterly and completely bleak.

Anytime you find yourself in these circumstances, this is your clue to wait for the birth, because that is what is coming. Also, if THEY are not going to rise from the dead, then I guess it will be you, yes/no?

Speaking of losing friends, my only close friend in Santa Fe (and I mean 1) was a triple Scorpio. She had a very loud speking voice and could be st off or have heer feelings hurt by thee smallest things. She moved back to CA and I have not heard from her, we met thru walking our dogs in the same places a couple years ago. Now, here I am typing away on message boards! My only other very close and old friends are in CA, and one is another Scorpio.
I had a dream about a friend I lost 10 years ago, she was my closest (since we were in kindergarten) and dearest friend, killed New Years Day by a drunk driver (in Denver, on CO BLVD across the street from the police station.) She was born Jan 24 so she was a cusp Cap, right? Maybe we had that in common, she was the polar opposite in demeanor and personality. Very sweet and soft spoken and ambitious,
OOps! Have no idea where I'm headed with this, sorry!

even - so many Leos and Aquarius's pair off it's ridiculous. These signs oppose each other and of course square your sweet little Taurus Sun and Moon.
So here you are this little EARTH person who is sooooo tactile and both parents living in a whole different world, (fire and air).
Okay, so Taur needs are simple "touch me, feed me, love me" and no yelling please, it makes me sick"
Thing is food (so important to taurus) is of no concern to fire or air and so they do not imagine how vital this is to their child. <<<This is one good thing about astrology btw - it can show you what a person needs to feel good and definitely make you understand that people are individuals.>>>

Anyway, it is not especially their fault, because they really don't know that your needs are different than theirs and they do not live next to me, who would be asking - "did you give that Taurus kid of yours some carbs today??" because this is the last thing on the mind of Aquarius. Further, your Sun and Moon are in the 4th, giving a Cancer flavor which means a craving for mothering (this is different than Taur basic needs) so yes I would say it ain't easy being earth with this pair.

My husband is taur with Leo and Aqua parents and he is an artist and has been for professionally for 25 years. If you asked them "what does your first kid do for a living" they would be at a loss to explain. They really are still hoping that he becomes a fireman. Whatcha gonna do?

even - a Virgo Scorpio blend would be excellent match for you and I would not scoff about AOL - that is where I got my husband.
On the Aquarius, the reason you wound up with them, is because you have uranus in the 7th house (the partner) and so you do not want someone normal. Must be uncoventional and guess what else? Soon as you were under contract (marriage) you would start to freak. Your parents unconventional marriage is the "psychology" reason, but the 7th house Uranus shows that it is in fact you own authentic nature, not just inflicted by parents.

Making sense I hope.
I make sense to me all the time but I don't know what that means.
